TIL that Bulls donβt actually hate the colour red. In Bull fights, they donβt charge at the cape because of its colour, but because of the motion it makes when the matador waves it. The cape is just red to mask the bloodstains from the fight.

A lonely woman, aged 70, decided that it was time to get married. She put an ad in the local paper that read:
HUSBAND WANTED!
MUST BE IN MY AGE GROUP (70's),
MUST NOT BEAT ME,
MUST NOT RUN AROUND ON ME,
AND MUST STILL BE GOOD IN BED!
ALL APPLICANTS PLEASE APPLY IN PERSON.
On the second day she heard the doorbell. Much to her dismay, she opened the door to see a gray-haired gentleman with no arms or legs sitting in a wheelchair. The old woman said, "You're not really asking me to consider you, are you? Just look at you ... you have no legs!" The old man smiled, "Therefore I cannot run around on you!"
She snorted. "You don't have any hands either!" Again the old man smiled, "Nor can I beat you!"
She raised an eyebrow and gazed intently. "Are you still good in bed?" With that, the old gentleman leaned back, beamed a big broad smile and said, "I rang the doorbell, didn't I?"

It was an honor fighting alongside Bernie Sanders, the champion of the oppressed. He will always be remembered as one of the most influential people of the 21st century, and the greatest president who never was. THANK YOU BERNIE! You fought many lonely fights, for us. Weβll take it from here.

> According to information acquired by The Athletic, an average Bulls game employs nearly 1,400 hourly workers, plus vendors who work on commissions and tips. These hourly employees make around a combined $230,000 per game.
> There are seven Bulls games remaining on the schedule. If the Bulls donβt make any of those up, that would work out to around $1.62 million total owed to these hourly workers. (Not including the vendors and other assorted workers around the arena.)

This is a decent proxy for determining how much your team needs to cover the hourly employees.
For example, Zion is committing to covering roughly $230,000 x 9 remaining home games for a total of $2,070,000.

I'm feeling very lonely. Moved to Australia one year ago from Kenya. I have zero social life, no friends. Literally. Dating too. Can't find a job, uni is draining me. I feel so sad, so useless, I don't know where my life is going. Sometimes I'm just walking down the street I wonder if I'm invisible.

You ever got the feeling that you are a lonely gamer?
I'm a patient gamer, I have a backlog with mostly old games. Wherever I beat a game I feel like I want to share the excitement of beating the game, but unfortunately I don't find anyone. Do you ever get the feeling that you want to share your excitement or experience after or while playing a game?

[Sun Times] Several NBA executives have told the Sun-Times that the Bulls have used this weekend as legwork for upcoming front office changes, with GM Gar Forman heading to a lesser role and the fate of coach Jim Boylen up in the air at season's end.

[Windhorst] βThe expectation in the league is that there will definitely be a change to the [Bulls] front office.β
From the most recent Brian Windhorst pod (around the 22:45 mark):
>βThe expectation in the league is that there will definitely be a change to the front office. Gar Forman, while heβs still the leader in the GarPax movement, has had his role reduced in the past couple of seasons, thatβs not a secretβ¦ and, from what I understand, heβs really not active in the front office at this point. Heβs kinda already been transitioned a little bit. I expect them to hire a new voice, whether that voice will be in replacement of John Paxson or alongside him, thatβs what Iβm sure theyβre trying to figure outβ¦. but the [fans] are going to get their head because GarPax will be broken up.β

Event suggestions - making friends for the lonely in Perth :)
Update: 2 question survey to shape the monthly events - click here to do the survey for Marchβs meet up! Will be on 21 March, Sat.
I also made an update post.
What Iβve realised from the cookie operation - there are a LOT of lonely ppl in Perth. There are also lots of posts in this sub about being lonely and battling mental health issues. My friend and I started up Blossom Friendship to host free social events for people in the community. Weβre taking out the word βdisabilityβ in promoting Blossom Friendship, so itβs now just an inclusive space for anyone over 18. www.facebook.com/blossomfriendshipperth
Iβm thinking we should host more lowkey frequent (monthly - weekly will be too difficult) events tho, since big events = infrequent. I donβt know the availability of my friend who I do Blossom Friendship with (we both work full-time). I reckon sheβll be, Iβm happy to do it anyway if she canβt.
Perth reddit meetups are great - Iβve been to 1 of them, but I personally prefer doing activities to bond with people. I wanna do something more than just sitting down and talking around a table, esp for ppl with social anxiety. More fun :p
Lowkey monthly events activity examples:
-
Boardgames nights: I can rent out a small venue - community space, buy some snacks, buy a bunch of boardgames, etc, and voila.
-
Painting or some arts and craft classes: I can reach out to some arty ppl who can guide us through a class. I went to a painting class on Valentineβs Day by myself and it was super fun. Not limited to just females... males go to the classes and they have fun too!
Updates/more info:
- This is diff to the existing Perth reddit meet ups. Come to both!! :)
- Events will be free or super cheap at the very least. Havenβt worked out what weβre doing yet.
- I can supply some stuff and ppl can BYO their drinks and snacks too.
- Events will most likely be on a weekend cos I work mon-fri soz. I wonβt be posting on facebook only. Iβll be posting in reddit too dw.
- The cons about going to a cafe or something is that they may be too busy and there wonβt be room for us. Community space venue = cheap to hire and we can do whatever/space is ours... so yeah dunno hmmm.
- Based on the cookies operation, everyo

Alex Scott: Last year I really struggled to cope with the online abuse/trolling I was getting. I kept quite from family/friends and tried to hide it with a smile. Feeling low/lonely I went to therapy & continue to do so and itβs the one of the best thing I have ever done. 1/2

26 year old male. Lonely, depressed and on the verge of of ending my life. Give me a reason to stay here.
Not hairloss related but my life isnβt bad at all in fact Iβm grateful for waking up everyday to the things I have but I just have that guilty remorse feeling inside of me all the time. Iβm always thinking of worst case scenario. I donβt feel great going out. I donβt feel great sitting on my own. I have no friends (well now). Never had a proper girlfriend and just do most things on my own like going to the cinema. I like my own company but I would love to have someone close by to just talk to. I work night shifts so itβs made it harder to find a social life but years and years of depression and isolation has led to this and itβs all my fault. I feel like my life is slipping and I need a reason to stay. Please someone give me the right guidance.

Are you still holding the same alts that you bought during the 2017 bull run, or did you trade them?
Like many here, I joined crypto in late 2017/early 2018 at the height of the mania and many of the alts I held quickly dropped in value, never to return to their highs.
I'm curious - how many here are holding the same bags from 2 years ago?
I still have alts, but the only one I still have from 2017/2018 is XMR. The others I realized were mostly terrible projects as I learned more about crypto and how it really works. I cut back from 15 alts down to 4 now. Besides XMR, none of the other 3 are from the group of 15 I originally had. Reddit was really a terrible influence when first learning about crypto.
So... are you still holding your 2 year old coins? or are you mostly out of those positions?
