A list of puns related to "The Incredible Hulk (film)"
I remember this song used to play on the website for The Incredible Hulk movie until it was shutdown. It's a cover of the Lonely Man Theme from the Incredible Hulk TV show and it's composed by Craig Armstrong. Does anyone know where I can find a full version of this song?
Lou Ferrigno's Hulk is perfect and you can go get fucked if you don't think so. Seriously now, great physique and the story from that show was so good I always just accepted the green painted guy.
Bana Hulk at least has the excuse of being in an old film and the gimmick around the Hulk getting bigger is actually quite interesting. Very solid design too, some still pictures from that movie look really good if you ask me.
Rufallo's Hulk has a pretty good design, I like how he has a heavier and rougher built and a very scary face. CGI has been on point, except for AoU, AoU's Hulk and overral CGI can go eat a bag of dicks. The aberration hybrid on Endgame is uncanny yet I liked how they had him stand upright, put on an angrier face and glowing green eyes and that would my favourite Hulk when it comes to design alone. It's also always a plus to have Rufallo as Banner because he's great and it will never not be great seeing Mark move his sexy lips.
That leaves us with Norton Hulk, which was just a poor attempt to make it look gritty. He's just TOO RIPPED, he looks like a Greek statue and I never know if he's about to kick ass or unveil a white thong and start posing. His Emo Peter hair is incredibly dumb and he looks ugly as shit, I was not surprised when I found out Edward Norton's face wasn't used in the design at all. His mouth has one million teeth too.
Terrible film, terrible design, all the people celebrating how much better it looks on every MCU comment section need to be neutered.

I'll never understand how the Hulk never had another standalone film, the Hulk has always been one of my favorite characters and have wanted to see more movies revolving around Bruce/the Hulk. When The Avengers picked off with Bruce hiding in India I was curious as to what happened that made him go from British Columbia to India and what potential stories they could've told over the course of time in between The Incredible Hulk and The Avengers.
Anyway what are the chances that The Incredible Hulk will be the only film to not get a sequel? I'm sure Black Panther, Doctor Strange, and Captain Marvel will end up getting sequels as well which is great but I wish there was more love for The Hulk!
(I didn't list Inhumans since I have no idea what's going on with that film anymore)
Edit: I forgot about Spider-Man, that one still seems up in the air to me but Spider-Man is too popular to not get a 2nd film in the MCU
Hello! This is Louis Letterier, Director of The Incredible Hulk, I have returned to the r/Hulk subreddit once again! This time to have an open QnA about my MCU film βThe Incredible Hulkβ. Please ask any questions you have and Iβll answer whatever I can!
Now I've grown up watching this movies a thousand times, but I haven't seen it in about 5 years. When I rewatched it I agreed with Banner and why he was running. The abomination was pretty good from order obeying solider to a monster. I also loved how the first half of the movie feels like a horror movie. I wished they kept on track with a strong hulk with good fights, unlike what he is now. Thanks for reading!
I didnβt think it was actually that bad. I mean I didnβt think it was great but better than I remember.
I just finished my run of all the MCU films to date, including The Incredible Hulk. I noticed a few plot points that were left a little open, such as the nature of Betty Ross' and Bruce Banner's relationship, what looked like the creation of The Leader supervillain, and how The Abomination is still alive (they were really able to keep Blomsky arrested? Or did they kill him themselves, or what?).
Or am I generally supposed to dismiss these events when watching future MCU films?
Edit: thanks all, you all answered my questions :) Except for maybe what happened with the mutation with Mr. Blue, which I assumed might've led to the creation of The Leader supervillain from the comics. Creeped me the heck out, but maybe I'll just imagine that he just died upon exposure to Banner's blood.
I know people did not turn out for TIH in numbers that Marvel hoped, but after all the character building that has happened over these 10 years I would love to see him in a stand alone film.
So I started my marathon for the MCU movies in order of release (original for Black Widow, but now just because), and I decided to review all of them as I go, then when i'm finished I plan on ranking all of them from best to worst. So let's begin starting with...
IRON MAN: What can I say that hasn't already been said. This movie is great. Robert Downey Jr. Is born to play Iron Man (to the point where I can't see anyone else in the role besides him), and his arc in the movie is very well done, the other performances are also really good too, the music is really great, the action, the directing, and the writing is all superb, it's able to tell the origin story of such a great character while still being encaging and to the point, not to mention it has great pacing. I also really liked the villain Obidiah Stan, not just because he was a fallen mentor of Tony & friend turned enemy, but also because he sort of represents what Tony became if he continued on his war path. Thus by destroying him, he finally disposes of the remnants of the evil he once was, becoming the hero we know & love. Also it was funny seeing him have to learn stuff with the suit & have trials & errors when in the newer movies he is basically invincible. The only two problems I have is I can't see Terrence Howard as Rhodes after seeing Don Cheadle as him, & while I like Obidiah, I think he needed at least two more scenes to properly set up his downfall. but outside of that, 9.5/10. very great movie.
THE INCREDIBLE HULK: Now I will admit, this is actually not as bad as I remembered. But it's still not that good either, & allow me to explain why. Now will list the positives. The action & music are actually really good, some of the directing is not that bad either, Edward Norton does a okay job as the Hulk, showing the more darker tragic side to the character (even though I still prefer Rufflo as the Hulk), the rest of the acting is okay too, & I do like the pacing much better then in the 2003 movie. But the faults of this movie are it's story, it's villain, It's CGI, & the fact it doesn't factor into the MCU at all. The story of the film basically amounts to Bruce is living his life swell, then the military comes, he hulks out, & has to run away. Starts a new life somewhere else, then the military finds him again, he hulks out again, & has to go on run again, rinse and repeat. The villain is not really that great either in my opinion, especially w
... keep reading on reddit β‘And wow. That movie might as well not even be canon.
I've been putting it off for a while, just because it wasn't the same actor playing the hulk, but it wasn't hard to watch. I just pretended it was a young Banner.
And don't get me wrong, it was a good movie! It was suspenseful just knowing the Hulk was right around the corner, as Banner kept trying everything he could to keep him in check.
But damn! Half of the things that happen in this movie they never reference again! It's a shame.
What do you think?

Did you guys notice that in the Black Widow trailer, Ross was way younger than he was in Civil War? To be honest, he looks younger than he was in "The Incredible Hulk", like 20 years younger. Or am i wrong?
