A list of puns related to "The Geffen Film Company"
I just banned his 5th alt account. He's salty as ever. If he ever decides to post his ban message, I dedicate his banning to all of you guys. Please comment if you have any questions. If you ever spot another alt in the wild, use the Bat Signal (tag me) and I'll immediately ban him.
Edit: This is the funniest shit I've seen in my life. He thinks having 5 alts is enough to take over. He reported this post, but I'm talking to the Reddit admins.
Elaine and Kramer hang with Jerry at the film shoot. Elaine tries to get a camera guys number. Kramer ends up in the background of the ad.
On todayβs βThe Lowe Postβ pod with Ramona Shelburne, Zach and she discuss the β30 for 30β series on the Sterling scandal. As an aside, Zach mentions reading in Brian Windhorstβs book, βLebron, Incβ that Lebron & Maverick Carter had discussed with LA Mogul, David Geffen, signing with the Clippers because he didnβt want to play for Donald Sterling. I guess in this arrangement Lebron & Maverick would have some wink-wink agreement to be owners afterwards.
Now, I havenβt read the book, so I donβt know how detailed that story got in windhorstβs reporting. But, was this widely known at the time?
In google searches, I see back in 2014 when the whole Sterling saga was going down, I found a βBleacher Reportβ article about Geffen telling ESPN this story.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/2046928-report-lebron-james-passed-on-los-angeles-clippers-due-to-donald-sterling.amp.html
Itβs a fascinating βwhat-if,β that probably was unrealistic since Sterling would never sell the team. It was probably just Lebron & team throwing it out as a courtesy hypothetical, in exchange for just getting in the same room as Geffen for other media purposes down the road.
Still, was this story given a lot of credence? The arrangement, as such, would have been illegal by NBA rules, but probably hard to prove if it had ever happened.
I run a small ltd production company in the UK (as in, I'm the director of the company and sole employee, making all films using freelancers) shooting mainly corporate video but also producing or directing several feature films under that banner, and am planning several feature films this year and next.
My film company has a very unique name, with a unique spelling which is a play on words based on my family name and film making.
I've just read in a trade magazine that there is a new TV sketch show being made by a director of some major feature films ($250m+) for Qubi which is going by the same name, same spelling - please don't dox me if you figure this out!
I'm sure I can't impact what it goes by in the US, but in the UK when it launches, the show will have a clear impact on clients and potential clients looking for my brand. Am I too small a fish to have any impact here? Who should I contact if I want to discuss this with them?
I'm not even sure what kind of solicitor in the UK I should look for here, I'm totally lost on this an would appreciate any advice.
