TL;DR: Reclusive woman goes missing, no one notices for a week. When cops show up to her dilapidated home, they find deplorable conditions, including dead and starving dogs that she was known to rescue. Her remains were not found in the home nor around the home.
TW: dead dogs (no photos)

Meaghan over at the Charley Project posted this case recently:
Stoddard was last seen trying to dig her pickup truck out of the snow at her home in rural Delavan, Kansas on December 27, 1983. She has never been heard from again. The police were called to her residence several days later, after neighbors realized Stoddard's truck was still in the same place and no one had seen her.
The police found approximately 100 dogs on Stoddard's property, but no sign of her. There were four plastic water buckets in the front yard. The large brown leather purse Stoddard usually carried was missing. Her cane, which she also usually carried, was found near her truck, which was parked in the yard.
After she retired from her job as a Civil Service employee at Fort Riley, Kansas, Stoddard had moved to her house three miles northwest of Delavan. She is described as intelligent and a voracious reader, and a very private person. She kept to herself, was divorced, had no children, didn't associate regularly with her relatives, and never let anyone inside her home.
She would often stop along U.S. Highway 77 between Delavan and Junction, Kansas and pick up stray dogs people had dumped there. Over time scores of dogs, perhaps as many as 200, came to live with her, both inside the house and in sheds and shelters on her two-acre property. She had names for each one, and if one would go missing she would call the police to report it and ask them to keep an eye out for the missing dog. Her neighbors viewed her as eccentric but harmless.
When the police went to her home after her disappearance, the dogs were starving. Ten of them were dead and their carcasses had been partially consumed by others. Many were roaming loose and the authorities set live traps to catch them. Ultimately, at least seven were considered adoptable, but the majority were euthanized.
The house itself was filthy, full of clutter and in a dilapidated condition. There was no running water or telephone service, the stove had apparently not been lit all winter, multiple windows were broken, the roof had fallen in over the kitchen, and it didn't

MO,MN,MI as well!!
Edit:only if you will be 18 by the general election, and you will need to register democrat if your state doesn't have open primaries.
It's time the question becomes who is the second best pitcher in baseball after Scherzer?
Oathsworn: Into the Deepwood is a cooperative campaign game, with narrative and combat sections, and lots of minis. There is also a standee version!
Ends on November 5, 2019
Standee/basic version is a $99 pledge
Core Pledge (with miniatures) is a $179 pledge
The All-in pledge is $299
There are no expansions or content add-ons of any kind. If you buy the base game, you get the entire game including all stretch goals. The hero/characters will have miniatures, even in the standee version. Enemy units are standees in the basic version, and miniatures in the core version.
Hi,
In the new Everdell kickstarter campaign, the prices for the different pledges haven't changed, except that now, taxes will get collected during the pledge manager. It is no longer tax friendly compared to former KS campaigns.
As an explanation, the publisher gave a link to a website explaining new tax laws in the US :
https://www.avalara.com/us/en/learn/sales-tax/south-dakota-wayfair.html
As I understand it, it basically says that companies making remote transactions can get taxed for it, as part of some economic nexus. Is it true? No US kickstarter from now on will be custom friendly ever again?
As a sidenote, in the colored map given, the state where the company of the Everdell publisher is, New Hampshire, isn't part of any nexus.
Does anyone have any insight or background info to what these new economic laws are? Are they the real deal? How will they impact the future of kickstarter campaigns for board games? It is really concerning.
Thanks!
His permanent address is in topeka, KS but he uses two different women (probably more than I know of) and their addresses in Lawrence, KS to deal cocaine and meth out of.
What can I do to stop him. What hot tip lines are there for crimestopping? I have his phone number, topeka address, the two addresses of the women I know he is pumping full of drugs and using, his picture, and his arrest record. It is actually pretty amazing how much information you can easily access of someone who has an arrest record.
Anyway, I would like to stay anonymous because I don't want to get shot but honestly if I have to go on the record to help those kids I will.
I am also aiming to inform the entire town of Lawrence and all his potential victims who are single mothers. He's literally a 41-year-old man who preys on young mothers. It's disgusting.
EDIT: If anyone wants to help me report him to as many authorities or just want to know who to look out for then message me. Or maybe you yourself like to partake in drugs and don't want to die because what you buy is laced with fentanyl. No judgments from me on that part. I don't care what you do as long as you're not taking advantage or hurting anyone, especially children.
3355 Ks in the AL
He literally has no plans other than the local councils (which is nearly impossible to do because of our constitution) but people keep praising him in every chance they get, and his followers are attacking everyone one criticizing KS verbally and in some cases physically. Why is everyone manipulated by his language skills and hollow speeches?
JV sits at 2,994 Ks right now meaning he has a very good chance at becoming the 18th pitcher in baseball history to record 3,000 strikeouts tonight as he takes the mound against the Angels.
By the way, he has had at least 7 strikeouts in 13 out of his last 15 starts this year but last start only 5.
As you may know the only 3 pitchers with 3000 Ks but no HOF bust are Clemens, Schilling and the recently joined and former AL Central foe CC Sabathia. Scherzer is next up at 2692. Also by the way, this group is much more exclusive than the 3000 hit club which has 32 members. Do you think Verlander is already a first ballot HOF lock?
Sale lowers his ERA down to 5.25. [Christopher Smith] (https://twitter.com/smittyonmlb/status/1124508204866646017?s=12) reported that he threw 37 four-seam fastballs, averaging 93.1 mph and topping out at 96.5 mph. He also recorded six swings-and-misses on the four-seamer and 13 swings-and-misses altogether.
Edit: thereβs video!

I loved the first game and will definitely be backing this. BB is one of my favorite co-op games with a pretty great enemy AI.
Just saw the Kickstarter pop up a few days ago and have never heard of dice throne before. The FOMO is REAL and I want to pledge for the whole bundle (DTA, S1 Retooled, S2) cause or looks so darn cool, but Jesus that price tag hurts :(.
Even just for S1&2 it would cost me like $230 Canadian.
Its always nice to see a local Houston kid do well! And hes only 23 years old!
edit: He was responsible for the runner at 1st, who ended up scoring, so 2 ER. I blame u/Forever__Young
