One big question in the report and in discussions here is, where will money come from to insure that a child has a high level of long term support to heal emotional and developmental wounds?
The material presented in βEscapeβ is far from encouraging. Several of the Turpin children were placed in substandard housing in dangerous neighborhoods. Basic safety wasnβt assured. Also some $600,000 was donated by private parties to support the children. This was put into a fund that is administered by the local government. Older children describe how simple requests, such as money to buy a bike to travel to college classes, are turned down. Two of the older kids lived on food stamps.
It is alleged that there is no transparency on how the private funds are used. The lawyer who is supposed to represent the interests of the children refuses to answer basic questions about what he has done.
There have been many suggestions in this subreddit for providing various types of support to young birth parents to reduce the need for adoption and to support counseling. And I think that most of us would agree that there needs to be ample counseling services available for kids in demanding family transitions.
The Turpin children are an extreme case, but they are also a very compelling case. If the simple act of administering private donations proves to be highly controversial for them, I am not sure that we can count on hefty support for other types of demanding transitions.
Please share other things you learn from the show.

If you are buying now, you would be extremely early in the projects life. We have big plans and an enviable team working on this token. If you don't know what community disruption is all about, you are strongly advised to read the website before you buy. The few lucky people who invest early will be best placed to make returns if the token reaches a much higher market cap. Currently it is at 10k, and has done a 10x in less than one day.

One's a Jammie Dodger and the other is a dodgy jammer!
Plus he also attacked his fellow agent in the hotel in quantum of Solace. Just a theory donβt go too hard on me.
Semiconductor technology has driven productivity growth for the last few decades, to the point that pretty much all manufacturing relies on semiconductors. We can see a lack of said semiconductor causing inflation in numerous industries.
Currently most of the world's semiconductors are made in few Asian countries, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan. China is on the rise.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semiconductor_industry#/media/File:Who_exported_Electronic_integrated_circuits_in_2016.svg
Each of these countries achieved dominance in their industry through industrial policies, that is, instead of relying on the free market, their government applied specific policies to invest and support the various companies until they were dominating their industries.
The US has relied on a more free market approach for the last few decades, but as tensions heat up in the pacific rim, is it wise to lead one of the most valuable economic resources in the hands of one region. It's not beyond reason imagine a war in Asia which could effectively limit America supplies to semiconductors from most of the countries, due to a disruption of shipping, export bans, or a destruction of foundries.
The Congress has already acted with the CHIPS act in the NDAA, and more are pushing for the FABS act would would further boost incentives.

Heard daily in my classroom:
'Miss I don't have a pen!' 15 minutes into the lesson
'I don't get it' when asked why they haven't started the work, 10 minutes into the task
'Can I go toilet?' When I've picked someone with their hand up thinking they're going to answer a question
'What time is it?' Lesson time Jimmy
Irrelevant questions when I'm trying to deliver teacher talk, e.g. 'miss why do dogs bark' WE'RE LEARNING ABOUT THE BIBLE
'MISS HES KICKING MY CHAIR'
Ask a kid to spit their gum out 'I WASNT CHEWING' then proceed to unhinge their jaw to show you their oesophagus
'I don't have my book' okay but we're 20 minutes in now Jimmy have you only just noticed it's lesson time?
Last, but not least, any piece of classroom equipment being lobbed full speed across the room (pens, paper aeroplanes, gluesticks, my will to live)
I'm pretty sure all the other cards came out as soon as the new episode was available. But maybe I'm wrong? I just hope I didn't miss it.

I was just interested in hearing any recommendations of shows to watch if I really liked Succession. It doesn't have to be about the corporate world or anything like that. Just something that you would consider as good or better...
maybe you should do some more investigation journalism into whom ever gave you that assignment. Ya know, investigate the one wanting the article(s) published soon. There is a reason why they are giving you (and many more) this assignment now. Turn the tables and then turn them some more....Submit your story here https://www.sec.gov/tcr ...they'll pay you your entire career salary plus 10x that amount. You are their tool (and puppet) to their market manipulation, the actual reason for the market disruption that you're about to start reporting on. Don't be fooled.

I have seen each episode at least three times, including last night's episode, and during my most recent watch through I have been compiling my rankings of each episode as follows:
Which episodes do I overrate and which episodes do I underrate?
For the record, I love this show and have enjoyed every single episode. I even really enjoy the ones that I have near the bottom like Prague, which is one of the funniest episodes of the series to me. Which episode is directly above the other can change with the day, but they hover in the same range that they are listed here.
Ziyech, kante, Ruben, pulisic, Mendy, mount, kante, James, Lukaku, Werner, kante, mount, kovacic, Alonso, Havertz, Chilwell, kante, chalobah, Callum, Lukaku, Werner, Havertz, jorginho, Ruben, Christensen, ziyech, Reece, Christensen
Barkley, Saul and Sarr are surprisingly made of metal or something
Ride shares were surging like mad on Thursday evening when it was raining, so my friend and I decided to book a cab instead. Estimate given in the app was $20-25. We arrive and the meter says $27.70. Ok, fine. Still almost half what the ride shares were quoting.
I asked to pay on card and for a receipt, and I realise that the cabbie has entered $34.40 on the machine. I question it and he mumbles something about a 5% fee for something something. Seriously?! Five percent of $27 is not $7. Plus of course there was a card fee on top of the payment anyway.
Such a rort. Work was paying so I didn't kick up too much of a stink, but it's this kind of shady shit that reminds me why we were all so happy for the taxi industry to be taken down a peg.
A little advertising thing in the back of the cab proudly proclaimed "no surge, ever", but their pricing practice is so freaking opaque, you can never trust a cab driver to charge you what's on the meter, and I don't know their T&C's to bother with properly challenging them
