The reason Jared Leto's Joker never received a stand alone film can be traced back to Christopher Nolan's 4th installment of The Dark Knight series (2005-2012). In this scene, Batman (Christian Bale) attempts to save future DCEU projects after reading the word "Damaged" on his co-star's forehead.

The Dark Knight Rises (2012) is the last in the trilogy that starts with Batman Begins (2005). In fact, the original title of the film was Batman Ends. It was eventually changed by the producers on account of that being a shitty title.

In both The Dark Knight (2008) & Batman Begins(2005), after a major character dies, Alfred offers Bruce breakfast/supper, Bruce ignores him while crying, then acknowledges him as he leaves. Also in both films, Bruce/Batman sends his main foe plunging to his death then rescues him with one arm.

Two great & creepy horror films but which group do you think had it worst: Macready's group or Juno's group? Which film did you prefer: The Thing (1982) or The Descent (2005)? Which film was scarier to you? And which situation do you think it would've been worse to go through?

Feast (2005) somehow flew under my radar all this time, but it's one of the best horror films I've ever seen.
I've been watching horror for 40+ years. I don't gag or cringe from much these days, but Feast literally had me doing just that throughout the film. It's monster/creature horror and you shouldn't be disappointed with the reveal. The acting and script is just awesome; and the effects are exceptional. I really can't recommend Feast enough.
10/10
There's a Feast 2 and 3 as well which I'll be watching as well.

I think the universe of 40K could translate really well to film. Look at the success of other SciFi film epics like Dune (2021), and Revenge of the Sith (2005). A SciFi/Fantasy universe that is super large in scale and detail can be put to film and be successful. What do you all think?

The Descent(2005) is an excellent and terrifying horror film.
The Descent is one of those horror movies that I feel like doesnβt get enough attention or credit. Just rewatched it on Tubi and i forgot how great it was. Itβs about a group of friends who go explore a cave in the Appalachian mountains and end up getting trapped and must fight off and survive against flesh eating cannibalistic humanoid creatures that live in the cave. The film had really good suspense and tension especially when they begin to enter the cave. There was also a scene where one of them gets trapped in a small tight space and it triggered my claustrophobia. The scenes where they are fighting off the creatures was fun to watch as well. I also really liked the movie cover for this film thought it was pretty iconic it was the image of one of the friends coming out of the water in the cave and covered in blood.

Watched the 2005 film and it is a disappointment.
While the film's cinematography, acting, and chemistry is really stunning...it's not Pride and Prejudice at all. It's a shame that nowadays when people refer to "Pride and Prejudice" they refer to this movie and not the book or the wonderful 1995 series.
The styling, characters, and everything else is so unrealistic and inaccurate compared to the book. For example, the Bennetts' pigpen living situation in this film is not at all the way it is supposed to be, the way everyone dresses is a "fancied up" way that nobody in that period would ever dress, and the greatest disappointment of all is the way Darcy and Elizabeth (and all the other main characters) are portrayed. They are likable characters just not Darcy and Elizabeth. An extremely accurate and beautiful portrayal would be the 1995 series.
Overall, I think this is a pretty beautiful movie but fails to capture the essence and beauty of the Pride and Prejudice storyline.

[PC][2000-2005] An old Disney kids game where you can do a bunch things like colouring, going through mazes. I remember there's Quasimodo, yes literally that quasimodo from the 1996 Hunchback of Notre Dame disney film.
Platform(s): PC
Genre: Kids
Estimated year of release: 2000-2005
Graphics/art style: Very cartoony
Notable characters: I remember quasimodo and a bunch of disney characters
Notable gameplay mechanics: I think there's colouring where you can colour it using different brushes. I distinctly remember one of the brush being "magic brush" where if you use it, it colours according the actual colours of the scene. The pictures are all scenes from old 90s Disney animation films. There's also a game where you traverse a maze (I think as a Red Riding hood?) and the wolf is chasing you.
Other details: I got nothing else

When will Fantastic 4 (MCU) be released? Not to be confused with 2005 film and Fant4stic.
The Logo
One of Marvel's most iconic families makes it to the big screen: the Fantastic Four.
Kevin Feige announced that a Fantastic Four reboot back in July 2019 during SDCC, which will be set in the MCU, is in development as part of Phase 4. However Kevin Feige officially announced on December 10, 2020 that the movie is in development and will be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
After Jon Watts directing Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019) and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), Jon Watts will tied with Anthony Russo and Joe Russo on directing Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

[PC][2005-2010?][Third-person hidden object game, made deal with devil surrounding film and must get back your contract]
Platform(s): PC
Genre: Hidden Object
Estimated year of release: 2005-2010?
Graphics/art style: Half-way between stylized and realistic
Notable characters: Obese film set manager(?) who gives you a film reel after doing work for him on a wild west film set.
Notable gameplay mechanics: Mix between third-person walking around an area and smaller pieces that are traditional object-finder gameplay
Other details: First level took place somewhere in France, and had you save your store or building from burning down, and then finding your belongings that survived.
In third-person, the camera view was of a static picture and didnt move
Film could have been a stepping stone to the contract rather than the main focus and reason for the contract.
Other notable levels include: Hell, mansion, graveyard where you have to open the door to some sort of stone bunker.
What this game cannot be: Contract with the Devil and (seemingly) not anything on WildTanget Games or Steam.

What did you think of Scott Derrickson's horror film "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" (2005) with Laura Linney, Tom Wilkinson & Jennifer Carpenter?
It's always been one of my favorite exorcism movies, hands down. Great cast, great atmosphere, very creepy scenes, >!the floor scene is still one of the eeriest scenes I've ever seen in a horror film. It's so quiet, there's no real build-up to it which makes it more effective IMHO. The first possession scene as well as the entire barn sequence creeped me and my friends out when we first saw it.!<
Speaking of, I thought Jennifer Carpenter was excellent in this role, she really made you feel sorry for her one moment & scared the next. I also loved the performances of Laura Linney, Tom Wilkinson, Campbell Scott, Josh Close, Colm Feore, Mary Beth Hurt, Henry Czerny, Shohreh Aghdashloo, JR Bourne, Kenneth Welsh, etc. They were all really good. I loved the different interpretations of what was happening with Emily as well. I think Scott Derrickson's a great director, Sinister's another film of his that I really enjoyed as well. What was your favorite scary scene from the film? What did you think of the film and the performances? Did it scare you or creep you out?
