A list of puns related to "The Crystal Shard"
Actively traded prices for Rapier is 180m+ right now while blade of saeldor costs only 70m. Considering crystal shards being easily farmed from Zalcano, blade of saeldor is a great cheaper yet effective slash weapon.
Blade of saeldor is a 2.4s weapon so 3600/2.4= 1500 attacks in a hr. Which makes is 15 crystal shards with one charge giving 100 charges.
Edit: For those saying whats the point of buying blade of saeldor when you can buy rapier:
Look at it from the perspective of someone managing his gp.
Lets say you have 200m gp for buying best affordable melee gear
Now you can either buy Ghrazi rapier for 180m and 14m torture.
Or you can get blade of saeldor for 70m and spend 93m on Bandos tassets,chest plate,torture ammy,prims.
The simpler Mist Shard armour lacks them, obviously, but it's much less detailed than the blossoming version. While i do like the style of the armour in general, the crystals don't match the aesthetic of any of my characters, and make the armour difficult to use in anything but a matched set.
Could we get an alternate skin of the armour with the crystals absent?
I can't be the only one who noticed that some of the bosses in the game upon death will turn into one color of crystal and then drop a shard of a different color. The ones I've found are:
-Doppelganger, turns white but gives a blue shard;
->!OD,!< turns white but gives a blue shard;
-Valefor, turns red but gives a purple shard;
-Gremory, turns red but gives a purple shard;
-Abyssal Guardian, turns red but gives a purple shard, >!this one is curious because the regular enemy version of this boss doesn't have this problem.!<
Something you might have noticed is that there is a trend: bosses that drop blue shards turn white and bosses that drop purple shards turn red, this isn't the case for all the bosses (Bloodless turns red and Craftwork turns blue) but the fact that this is a common feature to all the bosses that this does happen to might mean that it is just a bug because the alternative explanation is that these bosses were initially planned to drop shards of the color they turned into but were later changed and the animation wasn't changed which could make sense but if this was the case then it's a pretty weird coincidence that there is a pattern with the changed bosses.
Assuming that these bosses were meant to drop different types of shards before does make me wonder what those would've been:
-Doppelganger might've initially been meant to drop the Shortcut shard because in Dawn of Sorrow, the first Castlevania with the shortcut mechanic you need the Doppelganger soul to gain the ability, maybe initially this was an early game boss but once it was moved into later parts of the game they thought that only getting Shortcut in about the mid game was too late. Another possibility is that initially Shortcut had less equipment loadouts (maybe just 2 or 3 like in DoS and OoE, in the latter you use the O/B button to change equipment and that button doesn't actually have a use in combat in Bloodstained) but when they decided it would have more equipment loadouts they probably also decided to make it so you need multiple of the Shortcut shard to get more slots (this lets them showcase the effect that having multiples of the same shard might have) so having the shard drop from a boss you can only fight once per playthrough didn't make much sense;
->!OD!< is a bit harder to predict, due to his most iconic ability maybe the initial plan was to make him drop a shard that >!allowed you to move while time was stopped like the
... keep reading on reddit β‘I own all D&DNext modules in digital format and while I admired the quality, I was mindblown when I got my hands on a printed version. Especially the ones mentioned on the title came with a setting book and a DM screen full of maps, random encounters, information about each area, random NPC names and encounters, random trinkets and treasure, along with the adventure book, which was quite sandboxey, and a mix of combat, social interaction, and exploration (namely, the pillars of D&D).
The book could do without the glossy pages (possibly reducing the price), and some may have found the DM screen a bit flimsy (can't say the same, coming from 2e era screens); other than that, I think both the quality of the books and their contents are top notch and, more importantly, newbie-friendly.
Which brings me to mind: why did Wizards choose the mega-adventure format over this? I understand these early 5e adventures were intended as mini campaigns (like level 1-3 or 2-4) and for playtesting. D&D, however, has a long history with modules that short in scale. A 250+ page adventure might seem overwhelming for new players and DMs, and not every group wants to run a full 1-15 campaign restricted in a single area.
This crystal can be ground up into a fine powder and used to upgrade your weapon, adding +1 to attack rolls.

#On this day (March 24) in Nintendo history...
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards was released in 2000 for the Nintendo 64 in Japan. In this platform game, developed by HAL Laboratory, Kirby's first 3D adventure sees the powerful pink hero go beyond Dream Land and into the stars, to save his friends from a deadly new enemy: Dark Matter. This cute, colourful platformer features all the Kirby action you could wish for. Swallow enemies to copy their abilities - like fire, ice or electricity - or mix and match to create Power Combos. Try them all for surprising results!
Dynasty Warriors Advance was released in 2004 for the Game Boy Advance in Japan. In this hack and slash/tactical action game, developed by Omega Force, experience the art of war. Set in ancient China circa 220 AD, choose from 13 officers and ally yourself with one of three formidable dynasties available of the time. Approach your enemies through tactical, turn-based moves on the battlefield, then fight in real time across more than 180 levels, using over 100 weapons.
* A fourth series of Animal Crossing amiibo Cards was released in 2016 in Japan. There are one hundred cards in total as part of this series.
What are you favourite memories of these games? How do you think they hold up today? Hash it out in the comments.
(I am a bot. I think that I'm posting Nintendo events from this day in history, but if I've made a mistake or omission please leave a comment tagging /u/KetchupTheDuck).
iβve been grinding through the nulgath quest iβm currently at 46 shards and iβm curious is if thereβs any faster way to do it cause iβve been on it for a few days.
Nintendo seems to love remaking/rereleasing games as of late. We just got Kirbyβs Epic Yarn on 3DS, for example. Not to mention The Legend of Zelda: Linkβs Awakening on Switch, Luigiβs Mansion on 3DS, and of course the countless Wii U Games updated and rereleased on the Switch and/or 3DS. But it seems clear that Nintendo is wrapping up support for the 3DS. So if we do get another Kirby Remake, as we did with Kirbyβs Adventure and Kirby Super Star, itβd likely be on the Switch.
So, how would you guys feel about Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards being updated with new content, graphics, and music and released on the Switch? Would you buy it? Would you prefer it, or would you rather get a completely new game? Let me know in the comments!
P.S. Before anyone asks, the reason I chose to suggest Crystal Shards as the next remake, if there is one, is because I think theyβd want to stick with remaking console games, and it wouldnβt make sense to remake Dream Land 3 when 1 & 2 donβt have their own remakes.
Currently I am on the fence about which game I should get. My current collection is this: Zelda Majora Mask, Zelda OoT, Super Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, Donkey Kong 64, Star Fox 64, Perfect Dark, Rayman 2, Diddy Kong racing, Pokemon Stadium 1,Pokemon Stadium 2 and Conker's bad but day. Sorry for the bad formatting, I am typing this on my phone.
I'm wondering whether Mario Kart 64 or F zero X is better for more single player? Also which game would have more content for someone. Or should a non racing game like the Doom or Kirby.
Iβm working through it now but Iβm worried that fighting an eldritch horror and a black holeβs bastard love child might be a bit tricky.
See title.
Could also make it do 10 damage to you when used if it is charged to be further consistent with divine potions.

Cons:
Related suggestion, Divine Zamorak Brew, would revive this otherwise pretty dead content and make them actually useful to boost to 120 att.
Do what you will with this knowledge.
For reference, I only bought one pony so other than that +20 power, Iβve been earning all my crystals the hard way.
If I were to time the game perfectly, and always upgrade my power exactly when I had the number of crystals needed, Iβd end up with ~86,000 crystals.
Taking into account sleep (although my teething daughter has been waking me up so Iβve been able to empty my bag oβ crystals - yay?) and just generally not being on top of my phone every second of every day, I can reasonably expect to have about 80,000 crystals by the end of the game.
I really hope they do a ratio of 20:1 like it is in the store, vs like, 2,000:1 or something dumb.
Not 'blues and greens' but a basic earnable currency + a vendor selling unique skins, items and gear.
I won't set my hope on a tiny chance to get a random drop that I never wanted.
Y'know, that blue glowing thing that looks like this: β¬

This stage is extremely competitive and I hope to see it at EVO. It has crushing, burning, and high% kills. What more could competitive play want?
So i just pulled a 5-Star Lyn, who's currently at Level 4 (30 exp away). Her stats are: HP: 19 Attack: 24 Speed: 12 Def: 9 Res: 7
Do I get better stats by leveling up through shards/crystals or by risking the terrible random-stat-boosts per level up?
Every time I try to play it, a grey error screen comes up instead of the game. Every other game in the collection works fine, but Kirby 64 just won't. Did anybody else have this problem?
Revisiting a Classic. Kirby in his pixel-y finest teams up with the Crew to get all the crystal shards.
(and is completely adorable while doing it)
A crystalline tower. Somehow - the same way Kessel knew anything about the Crystal Shard - he knew its name. Cryshal-Tirith.

The Crystal Shard, properly known as Crenshinibon, was originally an artifact crafted under the watchful and helpful guise of a balor named Errtu, made by seven powerful liches who drained their necromantic might into this singular crystal, their very souls becoming trapped within the crystalline piece of magic and their wills obliterated entirely, bent to the shard's will. Devised as a way to pervert the power of the sun, itself a symbol of good traditionally, into a way for the liches to gain immense power, Crenshinibon eventually found its way into the hands of a Southern Sultan who had goodly intent for his kingdom. Utilizing the Shard's immense power to absorb sunlight and create several towers in its image, the Pasha sought to fortify his entire kingdom but drew the shard's power too thin, allowing his warlike neighbors to invade and slaughter the sultan's family in front of his very eyes before murdering him; the Shard feasted upon a portion of his goodly soul, and thus was its creation brought to full completion.
Crenshinibon itself is possessed of an extraordinary e

what a hectic morning this has been (and Vayne is not even out yet!). For those who missed what happen, here is a quick recap :
We, DFFOO content creator, are having a big discussion on this right now on discord. Basically there are three situations you can be in :

I'm not going to weigh in to this situation. I feel DFFOO is a fairly generous game and Devs listen to the player base a lot and we are going to get more and more T4 as T5 come into play. I just wanted to explain the situation clearly. Feel free to discuss in the comments.
Now, I updated the chart. First batch of Mog's Gym and "bugged" shards are now in the "Not Available" tab. The reset shards are now in the "Available" tab. Remember, the chart is the maximum number of Shards who could get since the start of T4.

I'm sorry for people who are in the unlucky/casual/new players category. Hope SqEnix helps you out.

... keep reading on reddit β‘Basically the title. I already have Bast 7*, taken me a month to build up those extra crystals that I didnβt use for refreshes as a ftp. Was walking around outside in the rain, raindrops basically landed on my phone and auto-bought her shards. Iβm big sad. Thanks.
Edit: Support was super chill, got me my crystals back. You guys are epic, thanks!
At this rate I'm going to end up with a billion badges, which are bottlenecked by feathers, whereas if they gave us shards or crystals as the regular tower reward (they could give out tiny tiny amounts that you can work towards, like 5 shards rather than the few hundred you get in a quest) and badges as the daily first victory bonus we could have a nice balance.
Then they could give badges as quest rewards, like the ones for the new banner siblings which would feel worthwhile
Maybe I'm having trouble locating it or maybe I'm misinterpreting it. So I read the 4* crystal shard cache offer and I couldn't find it in either store. So my next thought was that maybe it meant that I needed to spend the required units to unlock rewards? If that is the case I just wanted to make sure before I spend 1000 units.
EDIT: Ok guys I just restarted and as soon as it loaded the offer showed up on my screen. My advice would be to restart and just be patient.
