Sleeping in the van w food in bear country
This is just a thought that I have that kinda concerns me sometimes. I travel a lot around the east coast and there are many black bears in the national forests out here.
I know you’re not supposed to sleep in your tent with food in it, should same apply to the van? It seems really tedious to remove my whole kitchen and stuff it outside hanging in some trees or something. I cook in that van all the time?? what should I do here??
So far I’ve slept in the van in the forests (with the food) with not much bear issue. One time a bear came to my campsite but that was in the morning when we were cooking breakfast outside.
Bears just kinda spook me so I’d love to hear your perspectives, or your experience related to this.

The Country Bears blew my mind
I thought it would be just another basic anthropomorphic kid's movie but it was so magical. Music is a powerful tool. Haley Joel Osment is charming and such a joy to watch. He really chooses good movies. Always good to see rural America too. It was an emotional rollercoaster. Peter Hastings does some really weird and interesting shows and movies.
