I actually love Manrika's game play but I really dislike that she doesn't own up to her game to us, the viewers. The way she plays is really hypocritical and annoying (to me personally). I would like her more if she leaned in to her "villain" character and said outright that she is playing the game for the money and is fine with that instead of the fake "I'm not really this person" bit she's putting on. I think she may be a really cool and nice person irl so I would've rated her higher but the way she plays the game puts me off. I definitely don't hate her but I don't particularly like her either.
As for Gemma/James, I really don't like the way he acted with Manrika when he was leaving. The nonsense about the snake drawing was just ridiculous. But I also think things would've been super different if Manrika didn't greet him with such a stank attitude because he was smiling when he walked in the door.
As for everyone else, I LOVE Uncle Syed and I don't think Felix/Natalia should feel bad. It's a game, I don't get why Manrika is taking the relationship so seriously. I think all the other players had their interesting moments too (at least the majority of them, I guess except Alice?). This was a great season overall!
Season 4 right now is in the same situation season 3 was in. part 1 of season 3 was mostly build up for the massive hype storm that would take place in part 2 at the fight in shiganshina, but then it had to take a hiatus. Season 3 part 2 comes out, ends up being considered one of, if not, THE best season in anime. It's the same again, most of season 4 part 1 is the build up to part 2, part 1 takes a hiatus, and part 2 will immediately start with bat shit insane fights and reveals like season 3 part 2, INSIDE shiganshina once again. The crazy battle with eren and reiner, the heart breaking moment with falco, the insane reveal with the paths, and the WHOLE ASS RUMBLING. It's now all come full circle, It is literally season 3 all over again, and honestly I love it and and I'm geeking out over it. It's gonna happen again, I predict season 4 part 2 is gonna get the same love as season 3 part 2 due to the similar but still different nature. watch, the colossal story progression and action of both season 3 part 2 and season 4 part 2 are gonna be duking it out on top, and honestly anyone still giving a crap about the CGI or the whole MAPPA thing are slowly gonna fizzle out just like all the nit picking for season 3 part 2 did when that was airing. "2 titans meet, as it was written". Sorry couldn't help the doom reference. Part 2 is gonna make damn history and will be one hell of an event for the anime community, and I cannot wait
Remember, this poll is not about who you would like to win, but who do you think will win in the final ratings?
Hello, DMs and players of r/mattcolville! I'm back with a follow-up post for the Circle of Seasons, a group of villains I'm creating based on the Sublcasses of Seasons by Joshua Mendenhall. Today, I bring to you the member related to summer: Sefyr, the Breached Zenith!
I envisioned the Circle of Seasons as a powerful sect of spell-slingers loosely based on the four classes represented by the subclasses: The Frigid Repose, a Wizard; the Bane Returned, a Bard; the Breached Zenith, a Sorcerer; the Death Rattle, a Warlock. Some of them are more βspellcastyβ than others, but I based their abilities on the themes and abilities brought to us by Joshua.
As a sect of powerful practitioners, the Circle seeks to syphon power from the natural cycle of seasons on the prime material world, something they interpret as a direct result of the cosmic movements of the elemental planes around the material realm. These twists and turns of the sources of elemental energy are liable to be exploited by the knowing and determined⦠such as them. Therefore, they seek forgotten elemental magics and hidden arcana to tap into these colossal movements through rituals in which they destabilize the normal workings of the seasons, as they're sure to provoke an intense correction from the natural order of things.
This sympathetic reaction of the natural order to the disorder brought by the Circle provokes a flood of elemental energy, which the members funnel to power their more ambitious plans. Each of the four members has objectives of their own, but Urakh, the leader featured here, fights to tighten her ice-cold grip on the other three to see her plans become reality.
The second member, Liannon, can be found here.
Sefyrβs house was prominent in the kingdom as one of the noblest and most powerful due to their radiant blood. Her ancestors were considered almost divine beings and their name held great sway in politics. They wielded powerful elemental magic linked to fire and light, which made them be considered to be one step above the common man.
That was until anti-arcane sentiment began to bubble-up under their rugs given a new sect formed itself on
