A list of puns related to "The Camel (Parks and Recreation)"
I literally just walked out of a monthly planning meeting. I got to hear words like "Master Plan" and "Zoning Board" and talk about what we can do to get our youth interested in Earth Day.
I listened to a report for 2 scouts working on Eagle Scout trail projects. And will be hands on helping a local girl scout who is working on PUTTING IN A DOG PARK ON THE VACANT LOT owned by Parks and Rec!!.
I sat next to our version of Jeremy Jamm, who arrived in his red Lamborghini, having missed the last meeting after spending all of February in Florida... When we talked about pavilion rentals, (I'm not being hyperbolic) he chimed in to say we should remove all the trash cans because it costs too much to empty them and people should just just take all their trash home with them. THEN he also went on to suggest that we should look into adding a Helipad next to the soccer field.
I volunteered to coordinate our first ever "Chili Classic" in celebration of our local hardware store's 75th anniversary this fall. Which will be part community celebration, part Parks fundraiser. I also had to answer a request that the Library be allowed to set up a table at our event. I'm not looking to start a feud, so I agreed. Government Gals!
Guys, all of this monotonous, seemingly insignificant, small town talk has me genuinely giddy because of my love and respect for Leslie Knope. Schur, it might be weird to have so much real life love for a fictional character, but I am a better person because of that show. My patience and and tolerance for the crazy and the complainers has increased through there lens of comedy! I plan to work hard and work worth doing and making my town a great place to live.
Oh and I just learned that a new breakfast cafe is opening just outside my neighborhood. Generally I'm more of a bacon and eggs girl, but I think I'm going to learn to love waffles. <3
I've tried sounding my frustrations at this to no avail here people continue to only think of themselves. As of right now parks are still open. I have video and pictures of there being too many people at the parks in Murfreesboro way more than the normal amount. So many people on the trail that people are not able to follow 6 feet rule. I've reached out to Tennesseeans here to address the situation and I've had no luck just vitiriol. If the people can't self isolate then the government needs to do it for them.
Edit: Why and who is downvoting those bringing light to the situation?
They both have empty stomachs, are ravenously hungry and have unlimited food in each round. At the beginning of each round, their appetite is restored.
R1: Eggs and Bacon strips
R2: Meatball and Deli Meats Sandwiches
R3: Vegan burgers (Remember they are extremely hungry, to a point where their stomach aches)
Lightning Round: A single steak when a beautiful lady (staring at Joey) and Ron's ex-wife Tammy no.2, enter the room.
Idk if this is truly unpopular, but since r/dundermifflin gets on r/all a lot and P&R doesnt, I'm gonna assume most people feel the opposite.
But P&R is just a better show. The jokes are better, the characters are more pleasant, the cast is full of better talent, there are way more enjoyable seasons, and the show didnt feel like it went much longer than it should have.
I'm surprised there isnt way more love for it.
I know it's silly but I really like to be part of excitement, because I'm just a crazy excitable dude! My family doesn't really get as into anything as I do and isn't as energetic as I am so going to Disney solo has allowed me to really feel and see others having great joy without worrying that I'm stressing out my family by wanting to do and see more.
So having said that, I've never been to the "launch" of a Disney section and I truthfully don't know what to expect except huge lines, and incredibly long waits, which I'm ok with so long as I can feel part of the excitement and energy of the fellow hardcore fun lovers getting to see or do things for the first time.
Can anyone tell me what exactly I should do to prepare? I'm guessing I should stay at a nearby resort for the launch day before so I don't have to drive in or worry about being late or fighting traffic, but what time would it be opening on such a day and how long should one queue up beforehand? Is it like Black Friday where people bring tents (I doubt it but who knows). Would it realistically be 5 hours just to walk in and like 6 hour wait time for any rides?
My best friend and I have been celebrating this most glorious of fake holidays for the last 3 years. Would love to hear about others doing the same!
