In case you didn't know about the Veldora Dairy, it basically shows the events of the story from Veldora's perspective, it also clarifies some things, one of which isn't really a spoiler and evident in the anime, that being Rimuru is extremely cautious.

The Gaiden however will feature Diablo who is a character who will be in the next season, he is pretty badass.

As many of you might of aware, today is the last episode of the main story of That time I got reincarnated as a slime. Yes there are still 2 more "episodes" after this but they are actually ONAs and will not be immediately available on streaming website like Crunchyroll. Also, those 2 episodes will be side stories, as the main story line has completed for the anime.

Strictly speaking, the anime left of at manga chapter 54, which Rimuru has meet the Hinata Sakaguchi , the girl who is hiding behind the tree at the very last moment. But before that, there is a pre-event happened at chapter 53 which describes things happened back in Tempest. Therefore, Start at chapter 53 of the manga if you just want to continue the story. Also, as of the time of writing, only up to chapter 54 are available but the manga is still actively published so next chapter should be available within the next few week.

However, as many LN/ WN reader have pointed out, the anime has cut a lot of content. There isn't a lot of content cut at the first half of the season, but the cut are extremely severe after the orc disaster arc. Therefore, I highly recommend people to read the manga after the orc disaster, instead of the end of anime. The end of orc disaster arc corresponds to chapter 26 of the manga. If you want a more in-depth experience**, I highly recommend starting there.** Also, this shows how much content they have cut. The first 26 chapters took ~15 episodes of the anime, while the rest (26 - 54, so 28 chapters) has been fitted in the timeline of ~8 episodes.

It is already stablished since the first moment that the ogres have a more or less japanese culture, with japanese style armor, swords, and even silkwork. While dwarves have a western style, as you can tell by the weapons, and also the houses.

they were discussing two things, one is the appropriate temperature to produce folded steel. The other thing discussed was clay tempering. Because Japan didn't have good iron, making western style swords was just not possible for them, they would shatter easily. I just love when there is some thought put into the dialogue, what 2 characters would actually discuss and not just "smash iron good, i like smash iron" .

Primordial goddess of Night, Goddess Nyx, was sleeping in her luxurious room that greatly resembled a western 5-star hotel room.

Nyx Pov: I was lying on my bed while doing some thinking.

It's been a few centuries since I shut myself in my mansion of Night located in a secluded dimension.

Honestly, during the starting days, I thought my limit would be 2 to 3 weeks. But I managed to stay secluded for a few centuries.

Living alone was tough during the starting days but after all this time I can proudly call myself a house activity expert. Though It sounds quite pathetic for a primordial goddess such as myself to do something like housekeeping.

I gave a short sigh before placing my right arm on my forehead.

'It has become quite boring. Maybe I should leave for the mortal realm again?'

While I was having my thoughts a bright light flashed in my room. When I stood up to see what it was, I was completely shocked.

The light particles joined together to form a person. Woooow she is cute.

Then reality hit me. Nobody can enter this place without my permission. So that means He is an assassin.

I jumped from my bed and began gathering my power and formed a sphere of darkness. If he tries something funny, he is so dead.

The blue-haired girl stared at my room.

My body became relaxed. A soothing feeling assaulted me. I tried to bring my focus back but this warm feeling won't just let go. Then it happened.

Before I could manifest another sphere to counter earlier one something unbelievable happened.

The girl simply raised her index finger towards the flying sphere before the sphere disappeared.

Veldora is one of the support characters for the series Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime), also known as Slime Isekai and TSSDK. Veldora is Rimuru's first friend in the new world he arrives in as he stumbled upon Veldora in a cave. Veldora had been stuck in that cave for an unknown amount of time after being sealed away by a Hero, but due to having an abundance of magic power, he served as a guardian of sorts for the Jura forest. But soon Veldora become allies, and Rimuru offers to help Veldora remove his seal!

While in the body of Rimuru, Veldora reads through Rimuru's memories, trains with a fire spirit within Rimuru, plays chess with said spirit, learns Japanese to read the 'sacred manga text' and so forth. Veldora is a highly capable fighter with years of combat experience, and due to being a divine-class being, he holds a great deal of power behind him that is on par with other dragons, and superior to every other being in the TSSDK-verse. Although he may have his moments, and he can be cocky, he's more than capable!

Crunchyroll has some really great content, but I don't know that you always get the best descriptions - and there is a lot of content that can be best described as "special taste" which doesn't really float my goat.
These three titles (see the header) are surprisingly good simulcasts. I find myself really engrossed in the story. Has anyone had a similar experience with some titles that they would like to recommend?

Well, that happened. Brittney K doing great work as the slime, but this feels like it's gonna be one of those shows that moves incredibly slowly. We got a bottle episode to start off in a sealed cave. Not very entertaining.

The internets favorite Demon Lord loli is now on the dub screen.

I'm a bit surprised it went without much of a hitch, but I guess when her power is 10x that of Rimuru, a fight wouldn't really mean much. Charming her through honey and using her childish nature to his advantage suited Rimuru.

Milim is now also a prime ally of the Jura Forest Alliance, and new resident of Tempest, which could potentially lead to disarray with the other Demon Lords.

A few new additions too, Gabiru and co. have joined, including his sister and some soldiers. (Ironically some of them became human-looking for that oh so good fan service.) Vesta has also been given a second chance in the country of Tempest.

The monster country of Tempest is slowly growing, and Rimuru is steadily trucking on.

I was wondering if there was more manga that was like the two mentioned in the title where it’s an isekai but the MC is a different creature/monster. I’d prefer if it was something as comfy as the two manga above (meaning SFW content only and no rude MCs). I’d also like to see progression of abilities and character building. If anyone knows of any such manga, please tell me~!
