This hammock tent design me and a buddy have been working on and I wondered what you all thought! This design uses a unique tension system that goes around the sides of two trees to make a flat, stable, comfy surface. This works on the ground and has a custom underquilt. instagram.com/opeongo.camp

Camping near Sisters, OR. It woke me up in the night but ran off as soon it heard me inside the tent. Sounded large to me. In the morning only found this roll of paper towels disturbed. Looks like it tried to take a bite out of them and then knocked it over and they unrolled on the ground.

What do you use for a ground sheet? I want to use a tarp and lay on the ground sheet. For my tent I used the window shrink film stuff to seal up windows, but I think that’s going to stick to my skin too much. Tyvek? Maybe cut a section from and old silnylon tent? What do you use?

My wife and I have been doing a lot of tent camping lately due to the Covid lockdown. We got a new "instant tent" on Amazon. I wouldn't go back to the old style popup tents.
