So if it weren't for this sub and genre, I probably wouldn't have found all these sick new bands (such as Glare, Fiddlehead, Teenage Wrist, Soul Blind, Modern Color, Absence of Mine, Superbloom, Narrow Head, Basement, Gleemer, Koyo.. and so on). But I feel like all these bands have like subtle shoegaze elements, yet any tours or associated acts on Spotify or last.fm lumps all these bands together with other bands like Nothing, Whirr, and our typical shoegaze bands. Idk if I'd really call any of these bands shoegaze specifically, although I definitely can hear influences in some of em, I think you could probably label a lot of these bands like emo, pop punk, grunge, alt rock, etc., but the shoegaze genre is like the only scene I see them associated with. Or am I wrong? Lmk!
FFO Movements, Basement, Turnover(ish) and beautiful vocal melodies complimented by brilliant guitar riffs culminating in songs that get firmly stuck in your head.
The whole album is flawless but my standout tracks are:

This teenage girl might have been called Anna, and I remember her sitting in a bathroom checking the time on her wrist. There may have been a love interest? And I think she either was working or at school in some big house. Not much to go off I’m afraid but I remember getting it from the library probably between 2003-2009

Angela was reading their fortunes (which is rare for Angela to do). And Angela said the “the drop spindle of fate” was present with them. In the book it says that they were significant people, who had important roles in shaping the future of alagesia. But we never hear about them again, do we? Were they just throw away characters to show Eragon learned from what happened with Elva? Do you think they’re gonna come up again in later books?
