This may be common PF knowledge by this point, but for those unaware, it's very feasible at this time for the second EX to be solo tanked by WARs. I'm not sure about other tanks, this really only seems possible due to a combination of fight design / oversight, and the memey self sustain of WAR we're all too well acquainted with. Holmgang up for just about every double tankbuster (maybe for adds as well?), and even if no invuln a decent tank can manage both adds at once.
It can also be consistently solo healed at the same time, as long as the healer and the party are competent enough to avoid many mistakes.
I know EX trials are midcore content and trying to hold them to Savage/Ultimate standards of raid comps and optimization is always silly - but this is current content. And currently the hardest content barring Ults. I think the last time something like this happened was Zurvan EX? I'm pretty sure this is a mistake by SE and they're going to once again be very careful to always force tank swaps in every EX.
A little backstory is my ex learned that I had always wanted a fish tank and went out and bought a betta and a fish tank. Eventually we got more fish. My ex hated following instructions and we ended up doing a bunch of things wrong and some of them died. she just kept buying more fish as I started backing away from the hobby. Fast forward, we break up and she leaves the fish tank when she moves out.
I currently have a 20 gallon tank with about 20 Mickey Mouse platys and two female bettas.
When picking up mail, my ex told me all I had to do was add water to the fish tank when it started getting low and make sure I added the conditioner to the tap water. Well one of the fish died last week and I started looking a lot more into it and learning that I need to treat the water and change the water out more often and clean it. The heater in there is 50 W and I think that’s not enough for a 20 gallon. Temp is like 72F. Think it should be like 76F. I’m not really sure what filter is going on in. It’s like a weird black foam with a tube coming out of it. There’s a ton of algae growing on the bottom and filter tube. I ended up getting a 5 types test kit and everything was super high so I did some water changes and it looks like the nitrate and nitrite are good. pH is back down to like 7.5. I need to order an ammonia test kit. I also know that I need a bigger tank but I’m thinking of having 2-3 tanks instead of one large 60 gallon tank. This is one hell of a way to get into this hobby. I feel really bad for these fish and I’m hoping I can help give them a better life soon.
Any advice would be appreciated.

7/8 Static looking for a tank. All of us have cleared P1S, some have further kills. Planning to work hard on a short raid schedule to progress through the rest of Savage, then look at clearing older content for fun while we wait for the next tier.

Putting together a new raid static. We have five people so far [me DRK/GNB, my WHM friend, one SGE, one SMN, and one RPR/GNB/DRK], and we still need two melees and one range DPS **OR** one tank [WAR or PAL preferred but it's really whatever], one melee, and one range DPS.
We are a pretty casual group. Some of us have some high end content experience but not much, and one is brand new to high end stuff. Looking to create a group that is friendly and chill, but knows when to shut up and focus, without taking things too personally if someone makes a mistake and wipes.
We're looking mostly to play on Sunday Evenings or Weekday nights EST, but we have some west coast PST members too. Schedule hasn't been set in stone yet.

EDIT: We found one more tank and one more melee DPS! all we need now is a range DPS or a caster [not SMN, we already have a SMN]. RDM or DNC preferred, but again, I'm not picky.

Hey so I have been playing for last week and been absolutely loving it so far! I got a dragoon to lvl 50, mostly so I could see other tanks routes in the dungeons, but I now have a paladin to start tanking for myself but I have perhaps a pretty stupid question.
Does it matter which way i face? In wow you cant block or parry if the enemies are attacking you from behind, so how is it in ffxiv?
Side note: this community has been nothing but open arms and helpful to new players. Starting tanking was at first a bit nerve wrecking when you barely know the dungeons or the game for that matter, but every run has been an absolut Joy because of the random People who have decided to help me along the way
I've been playing Overwatch since 2017, although for the past few years I have been playing on and off, mostly casualy (still ranked tho).
I have been able to touch GM on most recent seasons but I go down back to low/mid master really fast, I wish I could get to T500.
I'm from SA but I play on NA with 160 ping because of queue times/match quality.
Used to be a Mercy main, now I play mostly Ana, Bap, Brig and love playing Moira (but I don't play her as much bc she kinda sucks), I do not play Lucio nor I'm a decent at Zennyatta.
My highest hero playtime (all game modes) across both my accounts in hours:
Mercy: 341, Ana: 102, Moira: 90, Zarya: 88, Zenyatta: 67, Brigitte: 47
I was also masters on tank many seasons ago, where I played Sigma/Zarya.
