A list of puns related to "Taboo (2017 TV series)"
I re-watched Taboo this weekend and I just love the atmosphere of the show. This is mainly due to Tom Hardy's fantastic performance, who really carries the show (not discounting the good or great job most of the other actors did). His menacing and mysterious character set the tone and I'd like to see something similar.
Is there anything that comes close? Ideally it would have a similar protagonist, but I guess this is wishful thinking, so I settle for a similar atmosphere. That means dark, but not depressingly so. Just suggest something that comes to your mind.
Remember when Marvel's mightiest heroes teamed up? No the TV version. The Defenders combined 4 heroes with separate shows of varying quality, so ho would you fix it?
Created by Douglas Petrie and Marco Ramirez
Written by Douglas Petrie, Marco Ramirez, Lauren Schmidt, and Drew Goddard
Starring: Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, Finn Jones, Mike Colter, Elodie Young, Jessica Henwick, and Sigourney Weaver
Four of Marvel's biggest heroes are each working individually but have one common goal in mind -- to save New York City. Burdened with their own personal challenges, Matt Murdock, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Danny Rand realize that they likely won't be able to accomplish their goals working solo. That realization leads them to team up and form The Defenders, a supergroup that is more equipped to save the Big Apple than the heroes would be if they continued to work on their own.
So how would you fix The Defenders? Share your ideas and help expand on others.
Please DM me any future requests or challenges.
Next week: Dexter (2006-2013)
A collection of five short animations using previously unpublished audio recordings of the late writer, artist, puppeteer, playwright, and designer Edward Gorey.
Can't seem to find it anywhere. Hoping an animationophile can help me out or point me in the right direction as to where to find this posthumous series. Thanks in advance!
Has anyone else heard of a 2017 Venom TV Series floating around? I keep seeing something about it, and from the looks of it, it was created by a small-time indie studio. It's got some pretty up-there characters in it, such as Eddie Brock, Gwen Stacy, Harry Osborn, Doc Ock, Peter Parker, and Cletus Kasady (Jesse Wilson). Here's all the info I can find on it:

Has anyone else heard of this, and if so, do you know of any more information on it I could look into? I'd love to take a look at it.
Thanks!
I have watched the TV season only once and I'm doing a re-read of the full HDM trilogy before I watch it a second time, but I feel like there's something very important that the series missed. Did they introduce the taboo that prevents a person from touching another's daemon? Also part of that same taboo is the fact that it is very impolite for someone to speak to someone else's daemon directly, and only happens in rare circumstances.
Both these plot points are important for the way Will and Lyra's relationship evolves in the books. First when Pan licks Will's severed fingers, then when Will speaks to Pan directly as he thinks Lyra is sleeping, being unaware of how unappropriate that is but which ends up strengthening their bond immensely. Last is of course when they finally touch each other's daemons as a metaphor for sex.
Additionally, I found that the Bolvangar scenes were not shocking enough when the scientists grab Pan to put him in the cage, because of that taboo's lack of previous establishment. But maybe I don't remember some things from the older episodes. Is there a scene that makes it clear?
The tv series is about a young guy, a old man and two young girls from somewhere in asia and all of them have some kind of power.
Its not about that guy with a blue arrow on his head.
Its animated.
If someone could help me find it i would be really happy.
Btw, Sorry if this post doesn't belong here
I just finished season one a few minutes ago and I canβt shake this feeling wondering why more people donβt talk about this show. I think I just watched one of the most emotional, well acted and well written seasons of television Iβve seen in a very long time.
Itβs a show about how fragile we all really are. It dives into how communities, families and individuals would act when they are faced with unimaginable tragedy. Itβs a very good, deep and thought provoking show.
I just felt like I needed to share this show with other people. It was truly amazing and I canβt wait to keep watching. But for now, I need to grab a drink, stare out the window, and think about what I just watched.
Here's The Links:
I watched it with my then-boyfriend and it was hilarious. It might have been on Netflix. I honestly don't know any names or plot points as I was super stoned at the time. Any help appreciated!!
Hello, if anyone happens to have a torrent or base64 encoded links for the full series or full seasons of Stitchers i would be very appreciative. I have tried the rartv magnet links from rarbg but they dont seem to download even though webtorrent checker shows there are people seeding it. My preferred quality is 1080p but I will take what i can get.
My memory of this show is so vague, the only main things that I remember was that it was a show about knights and a castle and it possibly had a river near the castle. I also remember that there was one character that had long blonde hair that I'm pretty sure was a boy and their hair covered their eyes. The character was voiced by a woman and this is the only character I remember. This character possibly had a twin and their personalities were rowdy. This is all I remember.
