I'm rewatching Warrior and I am floored by Tom Hardys performance, I think he is a truly amazing actor and even when he is in movies that aren't great he elevates them, he is one of, if not, the best actor of his generation! I am a huge fan and think when all is said and done he will be considered one of the greats if he continues to take challenging roles in his older years.
Obviously not talking about Venom here but he has done many amazing roles playing such a wide range of characters.
She the one spidey GF that never gets any love in the movies, can go toe to toe with spidey easily, the SS serum is floating around so you can do her proper origin story,
Fairly simple theory. Tom Hardy is totally from Andrew Garfield's universe, and if they make a Venom 3, he'll likely travel to NY in his universe after going back to see if "That guy" exists in his own world.
Here's why:
When the multiverse men, or the "sinister five" got pulled through to the MCU, they were all pulled through from the moment in time when they learned Peter was Spider-Man.
GG after the dinner scene in SM1, Ock when Tobey unmasks himself and he tries to strangle him in SM2, Sandman from an unclear time after SM3, Lizard from right after he finds Peter's camera in the sewer in ASM 1, and Electro from right when he achieves functional omnipotence for a split second before dying in ASM2, thus figuring out who Spider-Man is. Venom got pulled through during the LTBC post-credits scene right as Eddie was being connected to the hivemind, which has encountered Spider-Man various times across various timelines, thus making that his "moment" where he figures out who Spider-Man is, which is coincidentally also the first moment he even knows about Spider-Man at all.
Functionally, in NWH, Venom was the sixth member of the Sinister Six, but being "kind of a loser", as he is, he spent the whole movie just chilling out in a Mexican bar instead of trying to hunt down Spider-Man immediately like everyone else, partially because of his chilled out attitude, but also because he's all the way across the country instead of in NY from the start like everyone else.
And, of course, none of this means that he isn't from some totally separate universe, but:
Everyone else who came over was from the Raimiverse and the Webbverse respectively, in equal number. One Spider-Man from each, and three villains from ea-- oh wait. There's only two Webbverse villains, but three Raimi villains and a Spider-Man from each reality.
It would be strange for the spell to follow this pattern of picking a mostly equal number of people from only two specific universes, and then pulling one random guy from a completely unrelated universe where Spider-Man doesn't even exist. If that's the case, why not pull across any symbiote that has access to the hivemind? No, Tom Hardy's Venom HAS to be from the same universe as the Amazing Spider-Man movies. It just makes the most sense. And, if they wanted to bring Andrew back, which based on the fan reaction wouldn't be a bad idea, the Venom movies would be the best place to do it. I have seen most of his movies, but for me, no movie was able to properly demonstrate how much of an absolutely outstanding actor he is like Locke. An hour and half of just really good acting and a great script, and nothing else.
I think he was the best actor in The Revenant, and I loved his performance in Dunkirk, as brief as it was. I also love some of his lesser known movies, like Bronson and Warrior. Alfie Solomons might be my favorite performance of his.
I think he is really, really underrated as an actor, and I think he should receive much better roles although he is already doing very well for himself. What do you think?

- Sony's Venom (Tom Hardy), vs
- Terminator franchise's T-1000 (Patrick, Lee)
The T-1000 is sent back in time by Skynet to terminate Venom/Brock, while the latter knows the Terminator perhaps via hive mind.
- Both sides are knowledgeable but they don't know each other's weaknesses and human appearances yet, so no prep for such.
- 100% in character just like in their films.
- Movie feats and characteristics only.
- So just like the movies, the T-1000 assumes Patrick or Lee's cop persona after arriving naked, gets into the police car and starts looking for clues. While Brock/Venom is triggered of the Terminator's arrival after a TV news interruption.

Hi there. Don't know if this has been asked here before but still.
In no way home Dr. Strange says that the people who entered their universe are people who knew that spiderman is Peter Parker.
That makes sense considering only villains who knew spidey's identity and the Peter's themselves travelled beetween universes.
Until the credits. In the credits Venom travelled to tom holland universe and went back to his own. But how did he know who spiderman was? Does he even have a spiderman in his universe? What is his universe?
Probably should note that I haven't had the time to see venom 2 yet. But feel free to spoil that movie if it solves this question.
Also I hope that spoilers tag is enough cause I'd hate to ruin the movie for other people. I'll take this down if you complain.
