A list of puns related to "TLC"
The pilot didnβt take off.
Canβt take credit for this one but Iβll add a screenshot if mods allow it!
Once there was this farmer and he had this dream of having a duck. Then one day he saw this duck and started to chase it. He chased it all throughout the farmland. He chased it through a forest. He chased it past a river. All his life, he spent chasing this duck but he never caught it. He died all alone, old and hungry and without the duck. See, the duck represents your dreams, and the other opportunities, they represent other opportunities. So the moral of the story? Don't go chasing water fowls.
Because they don't want no scrubs.
How do they squeeze an hour out of that?
None of them wanted any scrubs, so rinsing was all they could manage.
It's about fucking time!
We were having a conversation about adoption and she mentions the Little People show on TLC and how they adopted other 'little' children.
Wife: I wonder how long that specific waiting list is?
Me: probably pretty short...

So the bub was in the tub and I was giving his scalp a scrub.
Our baby doesn't care too much for people rubbing his scalp so I start singing "No, I don't want no scrub."
My wife walks in and asks me if I am having any luck with clearing up his cradle cap.
"Well honey, things have been going a lot better since I tried a little bit of TLC. "
Here are a few of my peanut gallery comments to pass the time....
"I'm going to open my own wedding dress store. It's going to be called 'The Tulle Shop'".
"TLC is coming out with a new show that's about buying underwear. It's called 'Say Ja To The Bra'".
"What type of wedding dress did the future wife of the New York Yankee buy? A ball gown."
Indian-themed weddings are also a gold mine because of the "sari" dress. Too many to list here. Stuff along the lines of "I feel sari she has to pick between those two dresses". "She'll be sari if she doesn't pick that dress."....the list goes on and on...
(Whilst talking about an event he's stewarding for tomorrow)
Dad: "I might need some TLC when I get home tomorrow"
Honourary Dad (Me): "What? Telly, Leffe, and Crisps?"
