A list of puns related to "Swing axle"
Feels like I just replaced them about 3 or 4 years ago. I used the Empi ones that looked like an accordion. The bottom half next to the frame got rock hard and cracked.
Yesterday I replaced them with the Febi Bilstein German made ones that look similar to what came from the factory. Hopefully they'll last a bit longer.
Curious what everyone's experience is with longevity.
Hi! I recently bought a buggy on a '61 chassis. I'll be doing some work on it such as disc brakes front and back, lowering it, and putting on new wheels and tires. It currently has 18x8 mustang wheels that have a 44 offset that have 235/50r18 tires on them. They have a ~1 inch spacer between the wheel and the bolt hole adapter. It also looks like there is about 1.5 inches between the tire and the swing arm as it is. I guess that's a lot of words to ask: how much space is necessary to have between the tire and swing arm? Thanks in advance!
I'm in the process of replacing my floor pans, and decided to take advantage of having the body off and changed the transmission fluid. After a couple days a lot of the fluid leaked out the ends of the axle tubes... I realized it was probably over filled since the axles were lower than the transmission, is this something I should worry about or will it be fine once I get the body back on? The right side axle seal is brand new but it leaked anyway.

Hi.
Trying to take everything apart.
Any hints on the sequence for getting the rear suspension etc off?
Does the diagonal piece come off?
Thanks in advance.

Over the course of a year, Ive change the passenger side tranny boot about five times and its driving me insane. I've used different kinds, all from Germany. I even used a sealant on the last one and low and behold, it is leaking profusely. I always offset the boot to keep where the halves connect to the side. Is there something wrong with my axle, or is it possible I've been doing it wrong this whole time?
I have a 1973 VW beetle buggy. When I shift into any of the gears and let out the clutch, the swing axle spins, but it is not turning the tire. I hear a grinding noise and the axle spins freely.
Is this a transmission problem or is it possible the hub/tire connection could be sheared? I can't seem to find any info about this type of problem.
If you could have one weapon or fighting style from guilty gear what would it be or who is it used by?
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Do your worst!
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.

There was a sudden swell of magic within his feet. I recognized it immediately; it wasn't very different from how I began my battles. I activated Jetstream without a second thought and strafed left, narrowly avoiding his fiery fist as it passed by my face. I never would have imagined he was that fast; had I not had the ability to see his magic; had I not had that brief window of warning, I never would have dodged that punch. I maneuvered around and gleaned everything I could from the first attack. He'd covered at least ten feet of distance in an instant. He seemed to be having trouble stopping. Furthermore, the spot where he'd been standing had a small but noticeable crater in it.
I see. It's not incredible speed so much as a magically enhanced lunge. It's an extremely fast attack with the potential to end a fight before it begins. He'll never catch me off guard with that attack so long as I can see him building magic in his feet. Considering that he's only now managing to turn around, it's safe to assume that he can only attack like that in a balls-out linear swipe. Not only can I dodge it, but I can take advantage of it if he gets careless.
He turned and stared at me with a frustrated and confused look on his face. He recentered himself and lowered his stance, "How did you do that?" he growled.
I remained silent and held my sword out in front of me as I anticipated his next attack. He began to mold more magic into his feet, but it was far less intense than before. He was probably setting up to move quickly, but with more control than before, since his initial gambit failed. I needed to be ready for whatever was about to come next.
"Let's see you get away from this!" He called out before launching forward, sprinting rapidly toward me, his arms outstretched, the flames trailing behind him like a speeding comet.
It's exactly as I suspected. He's running at potentially double his normal sprint speed. Three or four seconds to impact. Let's see if this slows him down.
I charged my blade with an Aero Slice and swung my sword in a horizontal arc directly toward him. The sword hummed with energy as it released a slicing gale of wind directly in his path. He slid beneath it, hardly losing any momentum as his arms blazed with energy. He held them behind him and propelled himself forward on an explosion from the base of his palms. I wasn't ready for that and couldn't dodge in time. He wound up and threw a haymaker, connecting directly with my

Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
No, no it's not a joke i genuinely want to understand this character and i'm going to explain why.
I never seriously played a fighting game before Strive, so i have a lot of fundamentals to learn.
That said, even thought i would be reffered to as a casual player, i have a rather competitive mindset that pushes me to want to improve as much as i can when i play a game that i like, without necessarily achieving pro level or entering tourneys but at least being "decent", something i can be proud of like getting to celestial and be able to fight strong players for example.
So in pursuit of that goal i'm currently trying to understand what kind of mindset and gameplan are you supposed to have as a Sol player.
I play 2 characters in this game Chipp and Sol, with Chipp things kinda naturally clicks for me, i think i have a general idea on how my character works and what i want to do, mainly using my speed to control the pace of the match and whiff punish my opponent , taking them to the corner where its my strongest position to win, rotating my options to throw off my opponent when they block, what buttons i want to make them block etc....
But when i play Sol, i don't really have a plan, i feel like i'm just doing stuff and hope for the best, i understand that he is a strike or throw character but it doesn't really help me to really synchronize with him, i feel like my pressure is so basic and easily predictable, i also have a lot of problems playing neutral because Chipp's speed has spoiled me a little bit as i primarily rely on being fast asf to whiff punish from anywhere with him.
I'm not comfortable with other aspects of neutral such as pokes and counterpokes, how to move around at regular speed, how to use jumps efficiently and not braindead IADs etc...
At the beginning i was just playing really reactive while using Sol, like in a "fuck you" way by mainly waiting for my opponent to attack me and do something dumb then punish them for doing so, but as i started to encounter better players, that strategy started to fall apart simply because they have way better structured offense and a lot of patience on neutral and defense making them take their turns back quickly on top making their turn count, while i'm mostly blocking and trying to scramble for my life, often leaving me with that feeling of "damn, i can't get in on this guy".
I hear everywhere that Sol is a very VERY strong character to say the least lol, i do believe that
