A list of puns related to "Super 8 film camera"
Hello and thank you ahead of time for reading this. I recently was given an old Super 8 film camera and after shooting slrs for a while I am very excited to jump in. My only issue is that the camera I was given does not have an eye piece. By eye piece, I mean the rubber cup around the eye piece has been deteriorated beyond repair and is nonexsistent. A few questions I have:
Can I still shoot without this rubber eye piece?
Is there anything I can use as a makeshift eye piece for the time being?
Is there anywhere I can buy a replacement eye piece?
Are eye pieces universal?
Thanks again!

Do not buy from The Film Camera Store, UK site: https://filmcamerastore.co.uk/
I bought a 'fully tested' super 8 camera which came with 30 day returns and 12 months warranty apparently. Then it arrived faulty, and I cannot get hold of the buyer for a return or refund. I'm having to go via my bank through the UK Chargeback Scheme where they forcibly retrieve your money if you can prove your case.
Do not buy from here - this guy called 'Luke Clarke' is a deceptive fraud. I've tried messaging the company on Instagram and I have been blocked.
Literally just trying to return a faulty camera, could have been resolved very easily.
UPDATE: It took me 5 months, but I managed to get a full refund via my bank through the Chargeback scheme. The seller disputed my claim twice, the claim eventually had to go to a Mastercard tribunal where they granted me the refund. I had Whatsapp messages from Luke Clarke threatening me to take this Reddit message down otherwise I would receive no refund. The guy is a massive fraud. Avoid at all costs.
Would really appreciate any answers as I'm new to super 8 and shooting on film. I'm shooting a short film and I originally wanted to shoot it on 16mm. Having no experience and little cash, I decided I should try super 8 first. I'm looking for a good super 8 camera that can at least somewhat resemble the clarity of 16mm footage and can sync with audio. I want the footage to be as "cinematic" and clear as possible within the limits of super 8. Any insight or suggestions would be helpful.
