A list of puns related to "Stalagmites (fungus)"
This is more of a vanity suggestion. Stalagmites and stalactites are weak minerals and break quite easily. and as iron golems are one of the heaviest mobs in Minecraft, golems break stalagmites if they trample them while walking or fall on them. It may also slightly hurt them but its better explained in the below text.
Additionally as a inclusion mobs that don't take fall damage aren't affected by stalagmites and aren't hurt but I believe it would be better for mobs like golems and ocelots to take hurt damage there cause these are sharp objects and they are supposed to hurt.
This post is a suggestion to both blocks and mobs alike so as of now have flaired it as blocks and items if it is wrong would change it as required
Edit: The title was cut short due to my own mistake it should read as Stalagmites break when heavy mobs trample them

I am making a stalagmite pit, and I know it only has to be like 25 blocks to one shot a Prot IV player. What about feather falling?
I want to disable stalactites and stalagmites.
That's the only feature I don't like and I can't find it in the menu.
I'm playing 1.16.5.
Ok so I come across a lot of posts of people having problems with fungus gnats. They are some of the most annoying and invasive pests and they affect a LOT of plant types. Youβll usually get them when the top layer of your soil stays moist for long periods and once they appear, they multiply like crazy and their larvae munch on your roots.
I see all kinds of advice and tips offered on Reddit and while most of them have some validity, it seems like the real answer evades most plant growers here so I figured it was time for me to chime in.
Diatomaceous earth does work to some degree but you have to keep reapplying and it can be messy. Iβve seen people suggest using cinnamon but even if it works, once it has been in contact with water itβs effectiveness plummets very quickly.
Bottom watering works to some level but itβs a pain, takes forever and there usually are enough survivors to restart the infestation.
The real answer is BTI. Bacillus thurigiensis var. Israelensis is an organic larvicide and itβs the ultimate tool to get rid of fungus gnats COMPLETELY! It comes in a brown powder that you sprinkle on top of your soil and water in. Bti during its spore forming stage produces a protein crystal which the larvae eat and it subsequently destroys their stomach (takes a few hours).
Bti persists in the soil for up to 5 months ensuring thorough, complete and lasting eradication. Nothing comes close to its effectiveness.
Get some bti, thank me later.

Edit: you can also replace the first 2 inches of soil with rice hulls or perlite which are widely available. Gnats lay their eggs in the first 2 inches of soil so replacing that with something that isnβt soil and that dries fast prevents them from laying eggs.
Edit: you can also sprinkle some bti anywhere there is stagnant water outside your house and itβll control the mosquitoes by eliminating their larvae.
Edit: you can find it on eBay itβs a product called Gnatrol, wasnβt sure if I was allowed to post the seller name but a simple search for Gnatrol will find you what you need. An ounce treats 100+ plants
Would it be cool with there were a frozen ice verison of stalactites and stalagmites it would be different were if the ice Stalactite hit you the player will get slowed down
New addition to add variety to the dripstone caves, a smaller, thinner version of the stalagmites that could work like candles, in the sense that up to four of them can be placed on the same block. Itβs just a little feature that could help caves look a little more detailed
Then the behemoth closed its jaws and the world went dark.

Does anyone know if Mojang has confirmed stalagmites and stalagtites in the first part of caves and cliffs?
In the first age, in the first battle, when the shadows first lengthened, one stood. Burned by the embers of Armageddon, his soul blistered by the fires of Hell and tainted beyond ascension, he chose the path of perpetual torment. In his ravenous hatred he found no peace; and with boiling blood he scoured the Umbral Plains seeking vengeance against the dark lords who had wronged him. He wore the crown of the Night Sentinels, and those that tasted the bite of his sword named him... The Fungus.
