A list of puns related to "Square One (single album)"
Adele - I know Iโm in the minority for this, but Adeleโs music hasnโt ever really clicked for me. I like all her singles fine enough (except Easy on Me). I know the words to them - how can one not? However, when I listen to her albums, I can tell theyโre objectively good, but theyโre just not relatable to me. Like listening to 21, I could only think about how I couldnโt relate to what she was singing at all.
Celine Dion/Whitney Houston - I grouped these two together because I think itโs funny that as a Mariah fan I am not more into the two artists sheโs so heavily aligned with. I like Whitneyโs singles more than Celineโs. I even like some album tracks (Love is a Contact Sport!!) But her albums just donโt scratch a certain itch, not sure what it is. Celineโs singles are wonderful, she knows how to pull off a power ballad. But they are a little too downtempo for my taste. I also think they sometimes they feel like a random compilation of songs rather than bodies of work.
Janelle Monae - I want to love Janelleโs albums soooo badly but it doesnโt click for me. I really liked Electric Lady (the album) but nothing else sticks. I love everything she stands for tbh. Her aesthetic, performances, visuals, itโs all right up my alley, the music just doesnโt resonate sonically.
Million dollars worth of game ft dugg 42
Really excited for this, expecting many singles including JUDGMENT DAY produced by bangladesh
Can't think of any other one
Today, Eddie Vedder releases a new single entitled โBrother the Cloud.โ It heralds the arrival of his highly anticipated new album, Earthling, available on February 11th via Seattle Surf/Republic Records.
Earthling, which was produced by Grammy Awardยฎ winning producer Andrew Watt, is Vedderโs first album since 2011โs Ukulele Songs and his first solo tour in over a decade.
The track is the latest single off the new album and joins previously released tracks: โLong Way,โ which Variety noted, the strident, guitar-driven โLong Wayโ finds Vedder narrating a tale of a man haunted by a lost love,โ and โThe Havesโ which Stereogum described โa searching heart ballad about personal connection, and it addresses the increasing divide between rich and poor.โ
ALPOH isn't technically a single so it's not included
EDIT: I CANT BELIEVE THE AMOUNT OF SHES LIKE HEROIN HATERS?
What i want to say is what band do you think has one or two top tier album and the others are meh. In my opinion Stand up and Scream from Asking Alexandria is a good example.
(Previously posted here, but was stupidly removed for being "low effort," despite the fact that anniversary posts are a staple of this forum.)
I can't stress enough what a hyped-up moment this was. WWE had been airing inspirational vignettes for months, documenting Triple H's long road to recovery and promoting his eventual return. The videos were set to U2, a band whose rights fees are notoriously on the high end, so WWE was clearly intent on making the return feel as big as possible.
On top of that, the fans were craving a return to normalcy. The previous 9 months had marked one of the sharpest creative declines in WWE history: Austin went heel, Rock went to Hollywood, and the Invasion angle proved to be perhaps the single biggest disappointment in the history of American pro wrestling.
Beyond that, 9/11 had occurred just four months prior. Americans were yearning for a return to a more simple time, and wrestling fans were no exception. I can speak for a lot of folks when I say it was hard to "enjoy" much of anything in the months after that event, WWF television included.
The return of Triple H seemingly marked a restoration: a return to a time before the Invasion angle, when wrestling was still fun. A reminder of a time when trauma and fear didn't pervade the air, where people's anger was directed not toward national catastrophes, but toward a sledgehammer-wielding psychopath on their TV set.
Sure, people were happy to see Triple H again. But the enthusiasm you see in that crowd has a deeper story: for one brief moment, it was early 2001 again. Monday Night Raw was fun, life was good, and it seemed like everything just might be okay.
Especially with his conflicts with โLucyโ (The music industry) in TPAB.
He doesnโt want to be a slave to the industry like so many artists and people are, and that comes with the price of sadly having less albums produced.
But the albums he does produce will be the best of his work, and thatโs all I need from him. Quality over quantity.
Not trying to cause conflict I just want the small group of people saying this to listen to and read the lyrics again in case they missed his main points
Usually singles are the strongest part of the album, hence released as a single. But sometimes the true gems in an album are hidden or overshadowed by the singles which in all honesty are not that good. Do you have any examples?
Mine is probably Taylor Swift, I think post 1989 the singles were the weakest part of her albums- Ready for it, ME!, Even cardigan for that matter, I don't really think it's a bad song but I feel something like august could have done much better
The RPM Challenge has been a global music challenge since 2006 and has helped thousands of musicians around the world get their music out there. It is NOT a competition, but a personal challenge to release music made within the month of February. Totally free, welcoming community, and no restrictions other than it has to be original music. There is no policing of the โrulesโ as this is a personal challenge, so you do you. Most importantly, it doesnโt need to be good, it just needs to be done. One song, an EP, or a full album. It can be 10 seconds of you dropping spoons down the stairs if thatโs your thing.
This is going to year 12 for me and itโs something I look forward to every year. Iโve seen so many people who finally were able to get music completed who previously werenโt able to. Sometimes the final product becomes something that gets polished later for release, sometimes the RPM release is the final product. Anyway, I highly recommend anyone to check it out and have some fun.
Thatโs the only way. If not heโs going to have to quit music entirely
I was listening to False God and realized how badly I want more. Imagine an entire slow, sultry, jazzy album.
But then I thought about Donโt Blame Me. And then I thought about Haunted. And now I want albums based on all three โบ๏ธ
What would yours be?

As Arctic Monkeyโs have so many singles, Iโve been thinking of which songs I wish was in an album. If I could pick some itโd be:
Catapult โ Cornerstone I think this song is amazing, but it probably wouldnโt fit the albums that were out at the time(Humbug).
Cigarette Smoker Fiona โ Who The F*** Are Arctic Monkeys Who tf are Arctic Monkeys has so many good songs, but none of them are in an album and itโs annoying.
Bigger Boys and Stolen Sweethearts โ I Bet You Look Good On The Dance Floor I think this song woulda been so perfect for WPSIA
