Ok so which one is better
I want to generate a simple CRUD application from a database, for internal usage.
It looks like there is not much buzz about them now. Are they good? Are there problems with them? Are there better alternatives for JVM languages?

Hibernate has a great Maven plugin to reverse engineer a database:

I used that, with Spring Boot. I didn't write even a single line of XML.
I know the basic difference between the two (code generation versus configuration framework). My question is, is it possible or advisable to try to use both? And if not, why should I use Roo over Boot or vice versa?
I'm working on a new crud application for a client, and their last application was built using Roo. As a newcomer to Spring though, it feels as if going the Roo way takes me off the beaten path as everything on Pivotal's website seems to be tailored towards Boot nowadays.
Opinions?

Hey again /r/mls I'm back with part four of the state soccer teams. For those of you seeing this for the first time, I began a project last summer where in a made-up universe, each U.S. state (commonwealth for the people in KY, MA, PA, and VA) had their own state soccer team. I have done Part I revised a few weeks ago, and now I am on to part four!

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!

Welcome to the Bonnaroo 2020 2021 2022 rumor and confirmation thread. With artist tour dates starting to pop up and festival lineups dropping for 2022, we can get a decent picture of who may be there and who is likely not going to be there due to conflicting dates
Before we begin, here's a quick look at 2019, 2018, 2020, and 2021 Rumor and Confirmation threads.
BONNAROO DATES: June 16th-19th

Typically speaking, Bonnaroo doesn't have artists come back to back each year. That being said, this has been everything except typical.
Any help you guys can get is appreciated. The majority of the finds are done by you all, with that being said let's go over a couple ground rules, same as last year. I may not include every artist that gets mentioned - if I don't add your pick don't be offended. Also, I'm only one person, I'll try to update this post as much as possible - just be patient. The bigger the name, the more likely it's going to be added, especially the "OUT" section.
Also, HUGE shout out to /u/SimeonsDilemma, I'm using this format from a few years back, and of course the mods for keeping this place one of the best music festival communities on the internet.
