To all members of ZPCAS

Once again, it appears that we have found our sovereignty under attack. The Ascendency of Aestia, has descended from their throne build from the bones of tiny African nations, and the have occupied the Capital of Sierra Leone.

Our alliance has stood strong for years, and seeks to maintain peace and security within the South Atlantic and nations in both Africa, and South America. The alliance has on many occasions been viewed as one of the most important for Sierra Leone.

ZPCAS members, are compelled by the UN resolution to intervene, and send aid to any nation whose sovereignty is under threat, or who is suffering human rights violations. Furthermore, a major aspect of the alliance, is removing regional military forces from regions in which they do not belong.

Sierra Leone has been subject to all three of the above conditions, from the Ascendency of Aestia.

1. The Aestian invasion severely imperils Sierra Leonean sovereignty, in a way which severely threatens future sovereignty in the nation.
2. The Aestian forces have bombed civilian targets, such as police stations, in an attempt to scare and demoralise the populace, killing thousands of civilians in the process.
3. Aestian forces do not belong in the capital of Sierra Leone, and thus should be removed, in accordance with this alliance.

As a result we call all nations of the alliance to arms, to help end the threat of Aestia, within the region of Africa.

It's important to note that Aestia is not apart of this alliance anymore. When Nigeria headed to revolution and replaced their current government with a new government and new nation (Nigeria is not Aestia), they failed to re-join the alliance, meaning that the Ascendency of Aestia is not a member of this alliance.

The department is wholly critical of the developments reported so far this week, slamming the coup in Myanmar as ‘undemocratic’. DIRCO says that South Africa’s official line is to back the ruling National League for Democracy, over Myanmar’s military:

The Bogotá Capitol has been repaired for this specific event. In the main hall, flags of the participating countries hang from the ceiling. The youngest member of the council, Alfonso Valencia, begins the inaguration speech.

Good evening to all delegations. The Republic of Cundinamarca would like to thank you for choosing to participate in the summit. The Council hopes the summit will solve pertinent issues of today and prepare for the problems of tomorrow.

The current agenda for topics of discussion is:

• The tensions between the High Andes Republic and the Department of Antioquia concerning the annexation of the Panama Islands;

• The resource shortage in the Havelock Corporation and logging of the former Amazon Forest.

• Possible advantages for trade between South American nations.

South America has always been, historically, seen as one of the most violent and underdeveloped parts of the world. The Republic of Cundinamarca wants to end this stigma by founding the South American Summit for Peace and Cooperation (SASPC), a meeting between South American countries to discuss and solve current issues between or in nations. The Republic hopes that the summit will solve issues such as the tensions between the High Andes Republic and the Department of Antioquia, and lack of resources in the territories of the Havelock Corporation. As of September, the participating nations are:

• The Austral Republic
• The Department of Antioquia
• The Havelock Corporation
• The High Andes Republic
• The New Departments of Pasto
• The Republic of Cundinamarca (host)
• The Star Kingdom

Hopefully, this event can take place on a regular basis. The SASPC is scheduled to commence on January 2153, so as to begin the year with a strong feeling of trustworthiness.

King Mutant Llama of Southwest Africa recognizes the power of the African alliance dominating his northern border, but isn't yet prepared to let it hang over him. He sends diplomats to Brazil, Argentina and South Africa to propose an alliance to rival United Africa. The basic terms of said alliance would be this:

• Members must defend each other if attacked.

• Members must allow free trade, open borders and fleet-basing rights to other members.

• Additional members may join only with the unanimous approval of the members already in the alliance.

• Alliance-wide policies can be made by the council, which consists of an assembly of the head of state of each member. A leader may choose to appoint a represnetative rather than representing himself in the council. The council must have unanimity to pass a policy.

We are willing to negotiate these terms with parties that are interested.
