Hi! I'm a commentator at the Black Ice eSports space and we have a monthly event this Saturday (Jan 22 at 12p-8p) $10 venue fee and $10 per game entry BUT I have been searching around for having more Soul Calibur II brackets. We need at least 6 players to have a bracket, with stream visibility. I imagine we'll be playing on the Xbox One S that I have, HD version specifically and we have adapters for just about any type of controller but another player is bringing a PS3 for it.
We're also doing Tekken 7, Street Fighter V, Third Strike, etc but I really want more Soul Calibur action :3
The continent in Elden Ring is called The Lands Between. The starting area in Dark Souls 2 is called Things Betwixt. Betwixt means Between.

Looking to maybe buy one of these and was wondering if anybody has experience with both of these and what you thought was better especially given the price difference.
NG+ was one of the main aspects that pretty much everyone liked about DS2 despite its controvertial nature and I tend to agree. Having different enemy placements, extra tougher enemies, changed boss fights, new items etc. makes a second playthrough way more interesting than just scaling enemy hp and damage somewhat and giving rings +1/2. And I think it wouldn't take too much time to implement something like that. What do you think?
Please can anyone give me any reasons to try this game out, I already finished Bloodborne, finished Dark Souls Remastered and Finished Dark Souls 3, the only one I never finished is Dark Souls 2
It's dirty cheap right now, about 6-7 euro on Steam and PS Store.
I'm probably going to buy it, but I was wondering why did it receive such bad reviews? Everyone I asked either told me it's worse in the series and that I should just forget it even exists and move on?
What is so bad about it? Why do you guys hate/dislike the game so much. I saw few screenshots on store pages and tbh it looks interesting and fun, I didn't watch any trailers or gameplays to not spoil myself of anything
Greetings fellow Bearers of the curse,
it's Christmas and the corresponding Steam Sale is underway. Looking at the store page, there is sadly literally nothing that appeals to me. I played Dark Souls 1-3 and Sekiro and got all the steam achievements for them, some of the best gaming experiences I ever had. So I thought why not spent the time until that other Fromsoft game releases by getting the original Dark Souls II for 10 bucks and go for a 100% achievement run there aswell?
So my question to you guys who have played both versions or maybe even played them in the same order that I would be playing them: Is it worth to go back to the original game after playing Sotfs?
