A list of puns related to "Soldering station"
My experience on the whole is tech with multiple mechanical functions tend to not be great at either, is this true with soldering stations with built in hot air guns? Or are they just as good or do they need to be a certain price before they're good? I don't really want to spend more than Β£100 but if I have to bite the bullet on this I will raise my budget.
I'm getting into soldering replacement ports and things and I need some help with figuring out what kind of heat gun or solder station would be a decent price but also work well I have a budget of $100 to spend on it so I just wanted any help that I could get
My brother is DIY with absolutely everything, and is in need of a new soldering station. Heβs looking for a portable station with helping hands, a fume extractor, hot air rework tool or auto-suction desoldering iron, and a 60-80 watt ceramic heating element iron with heat adjustment. The heat adjustment could be analog or digital, either is fine. Does anyone know of a station that meets these needs? Quality is more important than price. Thanks for the help!
I got a 110v instead of a 230v soldering Station and they don't wanna to give back my money. I could use a transformer(110v to 220v, 1000W) but it would be cheaper to buy a new soldering station. I also found a video on the interior parts of the soldering station. I also made some pictures. My question is it worth it to make 230v and if yes how and what parts do I need, just to say I live in Germany.
In the end of the video he takes it apart and explain that there are 2 Pats, 1 of them is the board for electricity and power. Which is seen on the first pictures, the one without wires. Also, do I need to change anything on the soldering Iron and heat gun to work with 220v? I also researched and found similar found similar post, but I didn't understand it too good and I wanted to be sure that it doesn't go up in fire.
Thanks for all the help in advance.
Good morning. I have been using a Weller SP40 for very basic PCB (mostly game controllers and mechanical keyboard) repairs for the past year or so and have been using the dinky little metal holder it came with but Id like to step up my game and have a real holder. I bought one on Amazon with great reviews and came with a solder spool holder and I love it but I noticed that when I put the iron into the holder part of the tip makes contact with the metal on the housing. I will try to upload a pic later but is this a problem? Will I burn up the tip if its making contact with the metal on the holder and not totally free floating inside? Thanks in advance.
any recommendations for soldering stations that are around 3-400 dollars im turning 17 and I've been working on apple products for 2-3 years and i want to get into board repair and i have many iPhones t practice on
Hello!
I've just finished watching a comparison by Thomas Sanladerer and was wondering:
If a soldering pencil can be as good as a soldering station, what would the catch be? I mean, i need to upgrade my soldering iron. Why wouldn't i buy a soldering pencil?
Are there any advantages?
Thanks in advance!
