I'm nervous about working during normal business hours. I'm about to start ot and I literally will only be able to grocery shop on the weekends, or after 8 pm when it's a madhouse. I will be on probation for the first year of my employment, so I don't want to take a bunch of days off for the DMV or any disneyland trips or anything. How do people manage normal life appointments with a 9 to 5 schedule?

As someone who is a recovering binge eater but has slowly been losing the weight - finally - I am so proud of myself!
I started my journey in October after a break-up (of which my weight had nothing to do with!) because I was unhappy with myself. In 2018 I switched birth control and started an SSRI and went from 140/145lbs to 170/175lbs. I’ve fluctuated around 170 since. In October, I realized I was not treating myself well. I used food to fill a hole inside me that was full of anxiety and self-esteem issues, and I was having trouble hiking/skiing/feeling confident and strong.
My break-up happened and I decided to use the time to heal myself, emotionally and physically. I took my IUD out and am o the lowest therapeutic dose of my SSRI. I am down just about 10 lbs in 3 months and am consistently losing about a half pound a week.
I love food and love to cook. I still eat things I like, a couple biscoff cookies with tea and chicken nuggets, but I don’t eat until I’m no longer sad anymore. My appetite is satiated at the 1500-1600 calories I eat a day and this time, I’m living every day not as if I’m on a diet, but as if I’m running a very slow race.
I’m down to 165 as of today, and now have a 32” waist, compared to a 34.5”! I’m doing the thing - and have learned self control.

I’ve seen deep fried frogs, chickens, fish and even tarantulas, there’s probably tons more I haven’t seen. So why not cows and other large animals?

Good morning everyone. It is important to remember that we are small fries. I can say with certainty that none of us are a billionaire. You either have to have at least 500 million in a trading account, lead a trading team that is near this number or have followers that together is an army that will have close to that number… Why do I say this?
I am often asked if I can do something about METX, PROG, WISH or even TSLA… We are small fries, it is better to react with what the market gives us then be early or ahead of the curve. Some of these names are small caps so if I had enough followers who knows…. TSLA needs a serious army a Cathie Wood….When you choose to buy a TSLA, AMC, GME, RIVN you are basically hoping that the market will lead your stock higher so that you will make money. HOPE is not a good strategy, it can work, but isn’t a formula to make money long term. I still get asked daily what I believe on hype momentum stocks. 1 new sub is posting his trades and they are all momentum trades. I can not and should not be telling anyone how to or what to trade.. But my hopes are that with time you will be aware of what you are trading and will know when to, when not to throw grenades and plan the strategy…..
If you are trading a super defensive stock like BBD, GOGL, PSEC, AFRM these companies pay you to HODL. Some over 10% there should be no worry if you used charting and bought these on dips… if you bought WISH, PROG, SDC on dips… be prepared for a 10 layer dip! I am not saying that will happen but do not think because you are an expert on charts that, that red candle is the last.. A couple of months ago I had a long chat with someone YOLOing in TMC.. Good guy, but he was so sure that 10 was the bottom, then 7 was the bottom, then asked me what I feel about him borrowing money and buying at 5….. I kindly told him if he does so, I wish him the best of luck but if he does he should no longer contact me in private message or at least wait many months and we don’t discuss TMC anymore….Why? The stock was on fire, getting a squeeze I , many of the team were making money… This sub was also making money 12-15… I told him with all honesty as he was asking me for my advice my opinion.. and I
