It is similarly making as much variations of jokes in a certain context, Komi-san is her shyness to talk to people, and Sleepy Princess is the princess's tendencies to always sleep or trying to sleep.
Both had a crossover chapter back in their respective manga, and both are really funny imo. The reason I even watched Maoujou de Oyasumi is because of the crossover chapters.
I haven't seen many people talking about it other than obviously the communities dedicated to the series, so I just want more people to go enjoy it while they're waiting for the next Komi-san episodes.
Plot:
The Demon Lord Tasogare's castle is a dark and frightening place, filled to the brim with various monsters. Any soul unfortunate enough to be imprisoned here is sure to be terrified by the horrors within. However, the human princess Aurora Suya Rhys "Syalis" Kaymin is a different case. Rather indifferent to her situation, Syalis worries about one thing and one thing onlyβsleep. Ever since the demon lord kidnapped her from her kingdom, she has not had a single good night's rest.
To alleviate her dozen dozing issues, the princess makes do with what she can find in the castle. Whether it be the fur of fluffy demonic teddy bears or the silky, blanket-like bodies of ghost shrouds, everything is but a means to ensure a peaceful slumber. With so many potential materials to craft items that can help her sleep at her disposal, nothing will stop the sleepy princessβnot even death.

Review:
*Story- At first glance, the plot seems kinda boring. But instead of just finding cozy pillows and what nots, we are greeted with episodes is totally unique plots with a variety of quests the princess should do.
*Art: Amazing, just amazing. The studio that created this did a super amazing job on the shadings in the background making the demon castle look super terrifying.
*Sound and Voice Actor Picks- The VA for Princess Syalis is very perfect in voicing the character. At the sound department, the opening and ending was superbly made and its pretty catchy.
Conclusion:
This anime is the best comedy genre you can ever find in the anime selections. They did a good job on making jokes. Plus, teddy bears! Who can hate on these guys?
Rating:
I would give this an "amazing anime with cute teddy bears" or a 9.8/10.

Ahh this was so worth the wait! From the animation, to the voice acting (Kira is fantastic), to the hilarious writing, I'm so happy Funi and Sound Cadence finally gave this the dub it deserves.
Kira is absolutely perfect as Syalis, she had me laughing the entire episode and she was clearly having so much fun with the role. Equal parts sweet, scary (Not the Demon Teddy's!), and conniving, all she wants is a good nights sleep. She doesnβt even care about escaping, just wants a quiet place to nap, I respect that.
Loving how she just causally walks around the castle to get what she needs, while all of the guards (and the Demon King) keep freaking out that she's missing. Her running the halls with those giant scissors with those eyes was terrifying and so funny. The Demon King (Alejandro Saab) was hilarious, I think he wished he'd kidnapped a different princess already.
"WHAT KIND OF HOSTAGE SLEEPS SILENTLY IN THE DEMON CASTLE!"
The quest structure is fun, with the narration providing some funny lines. I can't wait to see all of the ridiculous lengths she'll go to get that perfect nights sleep.
This is the exact type of show that was needed on a Monday before a long work week, its super comfy, funny, and just really enjoyable, excited for more!
