A list of puns related to "Slaughter to Prevail"
A week ago my band and I had the absolute amazing opportunity to play with Slaughter to Prevail. The show itself was amazing, but meeting the band was on a whole other level. Alex Terrible is probably the nicest and most humble dude Iβve ever met, plus his screams are brutal as fuuuuuuck. Hereβs the pic of Mr. Terrible and the band!

I saw Slaughter to Prevail in Hartford last month and they performed without their guitar players and used backing tracks to make up for it. Despite the set back their set was awesome and the pit was great the whole night. They released a statement awhile back on Instagram saying something along the lines of them being "shocked" by their absence. Was wondering if anyone has any idea of what happened or if they at least got some live musicians to fill in for the remainder of the tour or if they managed to get their guitar players back somehow?
I just got back from the show and wanted to give a quick recap of it while it's still fresh in my head. I initially went for Bodysnatcher as I've become a big fan of them ever since they were posted on this sub. They were directly supporting StP so I thought this would be a good opportunity to attend a proper deathcore show and give my opinion on it. This happened at the Voltage Lounge in Philadelphia. Unfortunately, the Despised Icon/Kublai Khan show happened the same night which really impacted the attendance for this show.
Watch Them Burn
"Local" band from New York. They started out with lows so I was thinking they were a typical deathcore band...then the clean vocals came in. That's when I realized they were an Asking Alexandria-revival band lol. I was actually impressed with how decent they were. They had elements of AA, Attack Attack!, and Bad Omens in my opinion. If you ever see them on the list as an opener in the area, definitely make sure to check them out. This is the type of band that would have been huge back in 2010.
Prison
This was my favorite set of the night. They describe themselves as nu-metalcore and I could see it. It was like if you mixed Stray From the Path with Alpha Wolf. Some fun bass-y breakdowns and great showmanship by the vocalist. They were also very appreciative of the support as we chose this show over the Despised Icon one. I'll definitely be checking these guys out, but I could see them being one of those bands that are more entertaining live than in studio.
Orthodox
Varials + Code Orange. During this set I got a hint at what alextico must feel like at his shows. The bass makes you violent. The vocalist sounded like Varials with maybe some unclean Breaking Benjamin. This is where even despite a crowd of maybe 100 people, Philly showed its true colors. Oh the moshing and crowdkilling started lmao so I did what I had to do..and moved to the back. I can't say I enjoyed the band, but they had some fantastic bass breakdowns. Like it was fan service for hardcore people and I get that. Their entire set also felt like 1 long song since their instruments never stopped lol. I could not tell where songs ended and then began.
Bodysnatcher
The time has come and it was heavy. The vocalist is able to recreate his studio sound live so that was impressive. Didn't like how the bass drowned out the vocals though. And honestly I left this set a bit disappointed perhaps? I feel they sound MUCH more polished and cleare

Re-posting as the first post got taken down due to twitter link, which I was unaware that it's not allowed. Appologies
Hi pcgaming,
I haven't posted on here in a long time... I have been lurking a lot but not posting or commenting here because, well... I failed.
Three years ago I embarked on an adventure to try and create my own game independently. I quit my job, used my savings and pretty much released, what is in retrospect a not so good game. I was eager, enthusiastic and so deeply stuck in my own vision I couldn't see the forest for the trees. The game wasn't that good and it failed, and I've got nobody else to blame but myself.
However, despite my failure and by learning from my mistakes a friend of mine decided to attempt the same endeavour but in a much wiser manner. Where I was quick, reckless and a lot of the time stupid he has been calm, calculated and patient. He was diligent and invested enormous time, effort and money into his game over the last two years and I have enormous respect for that. Despite my warnings, he quit his job to put in even more time and care into his craft, but unlike me, he used that time wisely. However, he did and still does one mistake which I wish to help him with:
The story of /u/ShouldCanMust and his game Unbound: Worlds Apart has begun a long time ago and has remained very quiet through its development, mostly because he doesn't know how to promote himself or his game. He's a humble and shy individual and definitely doesn't have the funds to hire people to do this on his behalf right now. Where I have failed, I want him to succeed. Unbound is 10 times the game Void 21 ever hoped to be in my eyes, but I don't want to be the judge of that, I want gamers to be the judge of that.
He released the trailer today but has no idea how to get it in front of more people. I've played bits of it and it is so captivating and heartwarming.
I'm writing this in the hopes that I can get it in front of you guys and have at least a quick glimpse. It's most certainly worth it in my eyes, but you be the judges of that. He doesn't know I'm writing this right now, I'm hoping to surprise him later on if it takes off. Right now he's overjoyed if he gets 2-3 retweets on a post and while it's very cute to witness, I really don't want him to fail as I did... It's not an easy thing to go through especially since he put in so much effort in this.
Thanks for your time, I really hope you like
