A list of puns related to "Simpsons Tall Tales"
This was brought about by the jackalope post that keeps getting upvoted (why???). I wish there was an option to actually type out a report to the mods. The report feature doesn't let you type anything, you have to choose from a pre selected list of reasons which I think is really limiting. IMO, posts like that do not belong on this sub. It was only ever a talltale. When people see stuff like this it just reinforces the view that cryptozoology is bogus and not a legitimate field. It only damages us and the animals we are trying to discover and protect.
This is like saying the hodag or the squonk or hoopsnake are legitimate cryptids. They ARE NOT. Tall-tales do not belong on this sub if we want this subject to be taken seriously.
We have tried three times now. We are resuming the Pirates Life quest and right before we get into the glowing thing in the rock formation a kraken comes and stops us.
Is this part of the quest or are we just having very bad luck each time we try to start it?
So my friend and I were spawn camped for doing a tall tale and not having any treasure on board. I explained that to them and they told me to go kill my self. I donβt care we got attacked just disappointed that people take this game so seriously as to say things like that
My friend and I have literally only played the game leveling up our Emissary reps and gathering money.
I've only completed 1 tall tale myself and that was so long ago that I don't even remember what happened. I'm not really upset that I've missed out on some lore stuff since I've enjoyed the game just by hopping into a server and go seeking treasure or other player ships.
Do the tall tales give any sort of rep/commendations/treasure worth seeking?
I'm wanting to 100% wild rose...but, as soon as I log off, and back on, I have to start completely over. Is there a trick to getting them to stick?
I am trying to get thru every Tall Tale solo and with no tutorials. So far so good. I only had to check some facts online in 3rd (Storyteller) and 4th (Stars). Over the years they made some changes to the maps, removed some quests and added other ones (not to mention changes of the map layout and size) so indeed what was in the game was not consistent with what was in the books. I believe that there is no way for new players to get thru some quests without searching for answers online unless they are just lucky.
There are Journals in Tall Tales. How could any player find these without googling the answers? Beside accolades there is no indication in dialogues that there are journals to be found and there are no directions on how to found them in the game. So since I want to get thru all of the Tall Tales without support of search engines - How should I approach it?
Just comment if your interested Iβm looking for 3 people preferably who speak English and have access to a mic
This whole tall tale is epic, one of the best which really gives you the feeling of an adventure, even solo. Was amazed only 2.5% of players had the achievement⦠what a shame.
Ahoy mateys! Iβm currently grinding out the last few shroudbreaker tall tales. Right now Iβm working on stars of a thief and art of the trickster. I have a checkpoint in art of the trickster and all I need to do is dig up the gunpowder key. As for stars of a thief, I need to visit discovery ridge anyway for the jewel. Can I dig up the gunpowder key, and keep it aboard while I finish stars of a thief and resume it later to skip digging the key up again?

During that mission Pendragon, Wild Rose, and George appear. I knew who they were and I had a brief synopsis of what their story is so I wasnβt really confused. Still, it concerned me because I didnβt realize existing characters would appear.
Which Tall Tales should I do before I continue to ensure I know whatβs going on should more references be made?
