I recently purchased a 2021 GMC Sierra but am having issues with it.
It appears I can only get CarPlay to wirelessly work is by having my phone connect to my cars WiFi. When I do manage to get CarPlay connected, I lose all ability to do anything internet related in my iPhone. I canโt google, Facebook, etc.
I then tried completely disabling the trucks hotspot so it wouldnโt try to connect. Well now it wonโt even connect to CarPlay...
My end goal is to be able to connect to CarPlay without having to connect to trucks WiFi, so that Spotify and everything is strictly using my phone data.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi there,
I'm interested in installing the OEM wireless phone charging pad to the center console. I've tried looking online for any info regarding if it is even possible to add it on if the truck did not originally have it. All I'm seeing if newer kits to support bigger phone sizes etc
Any info?
Without getting into the nitty gritty, my company might be supplying me with a new X13 in the near future, and I'm curious to know if I should expect any compatibility issues transplanting my Sierra Wireless EM7455 WWAN card into it? For clarification, it's the WWAN card shipped with the *60-series devices (Yoga 260, X260, T460, etc..)
Thanks!

Pike finally states his problem with Tyler: "You killed a member of this crew. At least your shadow did".
Now... If we get to wikipedia:
"In Jungian psychology, the shadow is either an unconscious aspect of the personality that the conscious ego does not identify in itself; or the entirety of the unconscious, i.e., everything of which a person is not fully conscious. In short, the shadow is the unknown side."
Thought it may be scientifically imprecise, Pike does say that Voq is Tyler's shadow, and I do believe that it was supposed to be said in terms of jungian psychology.
Wiki continues: "Because one tends to reject or remain ignorant of the least desirable aspects of one's personality, the shadow is largely negative. There are, however, positive aspects that may also remain hidden in one's shadow (especially in people with low self-esteem, anxieties, and false beliefs). 'Everyone carries a shadow,' Jung wrote, 'and the less it is embodied in the individual's conscious life, the blacker and denser it is.'"
Since the Klingons appeared on season one as the main antagonists, Voq may represent this dark side of Tyler's character, but also... since Tyler has access to Voq's consciousness, it can't be his whole shadow, or his whole darkness. Actually Tyler's shadow is formed by both unconsciousness, Tyler's and Voq's. It means that there is both positive and negative aspects of both personalities living in Tyler/Voq.
That's why when Tyler answers : "Voq. Sorry, but there's no way to get rid of him, Sir", I feel like he's saying that he can't get rid of his shadow, just like Pike can't get rid of his, or I can't get rid of mine, or you can't get rid of yours. He highlights Pike's prejudice. Whatever it includes a Klingon personality or not, we all have that mostly negative unknown parts of our selves, and we shouldn't be judged by it.
A couple months ago, my MC7455 dongle that I transplanted my Calyx SIM into stopped connecting after ~18 months. That device is so much better than the R910 I ended up going back to my (shitty) DSL provider.
I assume that the IMEI for that dongle finally got banned. That appears to be the consensus from the LTEHacks forum, given that my at!gstatus? matches these:
https://ltehacks.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1904&p=13008#p13008

https://ltehacks.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1367&p=9070#p9070
Is there:
a) a legit way to spoof the MC7455's IMEI using the R910's MEID? (no, it's not illegal in the US if you aren't impersonating anybody or trying to intercept their calls / SMSs)
b) a way to convince Sprint to allow the device back onto the network?
ETA: Why I think it is banned.
Hi,
Iโm doing some research on multiple vendors before recommending a purchase. Does someone know how each of these vendors enforce their licenses for the Hw and sw?
Thanks for your help...
In Season 1 of Discovery, we find out that Ash Tyler, turns out to not be a human, but instead Voq, a Klingon that underwent extensive surgery and body modification to become human.
While Voq/Ash surviving his operation was integral to the rest of the season, and the next one, and Trek has a habit of playiqng fast and loose with biology, from a more realistic standpoint, would it have been possible for him to have survived the operation?
We know that Klingons have a vastly different fundamental biology, enough that Bones was able to identify a Klingon in disguise from body temperature, heartbeat and what life signs he was able to detect with his tricorder. We also know that Klingons have a different physiology compared to that of humans, having more redundant organs systems.
So would it have been possible for Voq to have actually survived? Generally, removing redundant organs (like kidneys, for donation) in humans tends to be an extensive operation, and that is with contemporary human medicine, and anaesthesia, which it is shown that Voq did not get, since we see him yelling in agony, and it is very much implied he was just laid on a table and cut into, without so much as a heart-lung bypass in place.
In humans, we also know that leaving someone with only one lung, or one kidney tends to have deleterious effects on health. While someone can live with just the one, they generally have to take close care of their health afterwards. In the aforementioned kidney example, someone who has just the one kidney left is typically advised to have a low-sodium diet, as they would no longer have a second kidney to pick up the slack.
However, Klingon redundancies extend into the immediately vital organs, like the heart and lungs (It can be argued whether Klingons have multiple hearts, or just the one redundant one with extra chambers), which are immediately vital to life, and loss of which would have almost instant ill-effects to health. To re-use a human example, someone who has had half their heart fail would qualify as a medical emergency, as the remaining parts of the heart would not be able to cope with the increased workload.
We also see Klingon surgeons cut into what is heavily implied to be Voq's heart without putting it on bypass (there are no pipes connecting him to a heart/lung machine, or equivalent life support), which would typically be an immediately fatal injury, since he would just bleed out from there, even ignoring the functional parts of it, l

I'm use to getting them setup at work with Verizon, but can't seem to find the options or plans on TMobile. I'm a significantly grandfathered in customer, so looking for options. I assume it needs a data only sim? Can it be tacked to my existing account or will I need to have a "Business" account created? Going in to a store tomorrow, but want to be armed with as much info as possible. Thanks!
