A list of puns related to "Shrewsbury International School"
Hi All, hope everyone is coping well despite the ongoing pandemic (I hope it is ok to post this here - happy for it to be removed if not). I am a member of a large international survey project looking at the impact of COVID-19 on the entire population of countries, including people in the UK (and at Shrewsbury!). The project involves almost 200 investigators in more than 35 countries and has been endorsed by multiple national and international professional organizations and ethical approval has also been obtained from the University of Southampton and from Aberystwyth University (for the UK side of the project). The COH-FIT project aims to identify risk and protective factors that will inform prevention and intervention programs for the COVID-19 pandemic and should other pandemics occur in the future. We are hoping if anyone is kind enough to spend just about 30mins on this survey - we will be so grateful to you. **There are questions concerning mental health which you may or may not find comfortable answering and so it is entirely up to you to decide regarding whether you want to participate**. The findings will be of huge importance in improving our understanding of the impact of the pandemic and how to cope with it. Here's more info about the project: https://www.coh-fit.com/ and the survey (Many thanks!): https://redcap.neuroscienze.unipd.it/surveys/?s=XHPATW473D

Match build-up
Liverpool have faced Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup in two previous campaigns, eliminating the Shrews in the fourth round in both 1995/96 and 2019/20, the latter after a replay.
Shrewsbury have been eliminated from the FA Cup by Premier League opponents in five of the last six seasons, with three of those ties going to a replay. They lost 1-0 to Southampton in the 2020/21 season in the third round.
Liverpool have progressed from nine of their last ten FA Cup third-round ties, losing the other 2-1 in the 2018/19 season against Wolves.
Shrewsbury Town have won their last two away FA Cup matches, beating Stratford Town and Carlisle United this season. The Shrews have never won three in a row on the road in the FA Cup proper.
Since joining the Football League in 1893, Liverpool have only lost two home FA Cup matches against sides outside the top two tiers of English football, losing to Norwich City in 1908/09 and Bolton Wanderers in 1992/93.

... keep reading on reddit β‘Wondering about the pros and cons of each option. I am a foreigner and wife is a Chinese national and we are expecting a newborn later this year. It is a bit early to think about this topic but I would appreciate getting some insights on it regardless.
From my limited understanding, a Chinese public school would be the less expensive option, but there may be more stress from academic pressures. A private international school, on the other hand, might be significantly more expensive, but a bit less stressful and possibly preferable in terms of later applying to an American or Canadian university. Is this general assessment roughly correct or incorrect?
What are some additional pros and cons (including any comments about the curriculum or other relevant details that may be worth considering)?
Nice "easy" draw for once, although we did need a replay last time I'm pretty sure
Before the start of each gameweek, I will make a brief review of the previous season's gameweek: Who scored a lot of points? Who got a red card? Which popular captain stayed on the bench the whole gameweek?

Thread for Krawietzβs pre match press conference quotes for Liverpool vs Shrewsbury in FA Cup.
His conference starts at 1pm GMT. Iβll update the thread as the conference goes on.
Where to watch-Krawietzβs pre match press conference
Krawietzβs pre match press conference quotes :
>Krawietz: "I can't tell you exact number [of covid]. We have a team, we can play and will try to win." He βhopes" Jurgen Klopp will be on the touchline v Shrewsbury. "He is well and he feels fine, but the regulations are what they are, and he has to do tests."
>Krawietz: βItβs a difficult situation, we have injuries, covid cases, illnesses, we have to wait for a few results of players not here today. They have to do their test today before they join us. We hope [Jurgen] will be involved. He is fine. He has to do tests as well, we hope."
>Krawietz on Jan plans: "This is a long term decision, we take the situation as it is. So we knew about the AFCON situation for a few months. Hopefully they are successful. Covid is like it is, if it's necessary to react we will discuss that. A club decision."
>Krawietz: "Shrewsbury will tough because of their quality. A team who player proper football, quick, forward, they want to attack, strong strikers and a compact defensive formation. A team that is well-managed, you can see that. They will have targets, our situation is not ideal."
>Krawietz: "A few covid cases with U23s, some are back now and we can choose a team that is able to follow our football way. We want to play a proper game tomorrow, compact, aggressive, attacking, playing good football."
>Krawietz on giving younger players a chance tomorrow: "I hope that excitement is the right word for that. I hope they can't wait till the game starts and we try to make them as confident as possible before. We try to prepare them as much as possible."
>Krawietz on dealing with Covid: "We were in a difficult situation and we had to shut the training ground down. We always want to play our games, try to win, but it was too difficult. A busy week, even sitting at home! This is the situation we face and we need to find solutions."
>Krawietz on Leighton Clarkson and the team tomorrow: "We have one loan player back and he will probably join the squad tomorrow. We found enough players to have a squad for tomorrow. It will be an exciting team."
>Krawietz on training in the last week: "Training grounds closed and shut down means nob

I am a 25yo Australian with a Bachelor's Degree in Education and I have been working as a primary school teacher at an international school in Tokyo for the last two years.
I would like to move to Phuket some time around the middle of this year and seek a job at an international school.
What do you think my chances are? It seems like there are quite a few international schools in Phuket and I know that COVID is making it tougher for schools to find teachers from overseas.
Any info or advice you can offer is much appreciated.
