I decided to put them in a list by location, and figured I'd share it in case anyone is trying to find new artists in their area or just look at cool art. A few disclaimers, I live in the Northeast US, so it is somewhat concentrated in that region. Obviously this is only a small handful of artists of those out there, and there's no way I could get them all. History:
STL is an older set that has been around since the 90s, back then they were called Boss City. Many of their original founders have went to prison or moved to Iowa. EBT was created around 2006 by Drizzy, Doc and Baby Greg. EBT were the older guys and STL were the younger guy so basically STL inherited their beef. And because of their geographical locations and family ties, they became cliqued up. They became cliqued with Jaro City because their members grew up together and also went to school together. Tyquan World were the shorties from both Jaro and STLEBT that created their own set after the death of 13 year old Tyquan Tyler.
STLEBT vs. TYMB
STLEBT began beefing with TYMB around 2007 when Dalvin from Jaro City was ALLEGEDLY by Ty from YMB. Before Ty´s death, TYMB went by 064 Young Money Boyz or YMB. EBT would retaliate for Jaro years later in 2009 when they would kill Ty. Chicken, Face and Taki (all from EBT) were later arrested and charged with the murder, with Face and Taki going on to snitch on Chicken. But Chicken would end up beating the case and he is now a free man. EBT would score on TYMB again a year later on September 15 2010 when EBT Weezy would kill 14 year old Lil Chris. A 12 year old and a 19 year old were also shot in the crossfire but fortunately survived. Weezy was later arrested and charged for the murder. He is currently locked up and will be eligible for parole in the year 2048. TYMB would get their getback only four months later, which would go on to be one of the most controversial deaths in Chicago Drill History. Im talking about none other than the murder of 15 year old Shondale Gregory aka Tooka.
On January 12 2011, Tooka was standing at a bus stop at around 6:45 pm. A man approached him and asked when the next bus was coming. They chatted for a few seconds before the man pulled out a gun and shot Tooka multiple times before fleeing the scene. According to the FOIA, the killer was light skin with hazel eyes. The TYMB twins Courtney and Cortize were rumored to have been the killers but Courtney was locked up at the time so it was probably Cortize. FBG Duck, who was actually good friends with Tooka, had ran all the way from his home on 62nd and Rhodes to 63rd and St. Lawrence to see his slain friend, lying there on the ground and he immediately broke down. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
