A list of puns related to "Shikara (2020 film)"
Saw it after a year of its release and all the controversy.
It is a good love story, but thatβs all it is. Itβs definitely NOT a movie about exodus of Kashmiri Pandits. Itβs an old school love story on the backdrop of exodus.
The character and story is full of cliches but still works. We know whatβs going to be the fate of Dr Naveen and Lateef but itβs still convincing enough.
The lead pair chemistry felt genuine. And you feel for those two
Specially when they visit their old house only to see that Haji has changed everything from inside even her prayer room .
Or when they attend wedding just to feel suffocated and disappointed seeing bollwood song in the wedding instead of folk song, not being able to save their culture after trying so hard to uplift the community.
Itβs an overall good watch.
Anyone know?
Set Up: Harry Potter (sometimes called daniel radcliffe) forges keys via the prison wood-shop and hides them in his cell to escape from prison. He has successful unlocked his cell by this point. He just needs one last key to have a complete set for escape. While testing the last key, he drops it out of his cell/reach. In a very suspenseful scene, he now has to stick gum to a broomstick (not a nimbus 2000) and desperately attempt to stick the key with it, reaching with all his might, pouring sweat, trying to retrieve it before the guards catch him, beat him, double his jail sentence and foil the escape.
Plot Hole: Why doesn't Potter just use the first key he's already made to unlock his cell? It's still in there with him. He could just walk out, grab the dropped key, walk back in, lock the door behind him. No fuss, no muss. He's already been unlocking his own cell the entire film. It was an incredibly intense, well done scene, but for absolutely no reason and it made no sense to the story.
so the story line goes like this, there is a woman living alone with her baby in a small apartment and she has problem that she sees everyone as double but the double she sees try's to attack her so she fight's back and beat the real person really bad and soon after the baby get taken by her because of this mental illness while she is living alone a old man who is a writer fall's in love with her and try's to impress her after some time they were living together he left her and she starts to have the mental illness back which was gone while the man was with her. In the end of the movie she was in a mental hospital where his baby who has grown up a little(around 6 or 10 years)comes to meet him
Zombie films
Iβve been on a zombie binge for a week now and am looking for more films along the lines of the South Korean film #Alive (2020). Any recommendations?
I lived and breathed the books right the way through my teenage and early adult life. They were perfect, great storytelling, great characters, fantastic arcs.
After seeing the trailers when the film released I was furious and distraught by what I saw.
After all this time I finally sat down to watch the film on a whim and all Iβve been left with is a mix of confusion and disappointment.
Iβm sure youβve all been through this already but I just wanted to share my melancholy at what could have been and whatβs was lost. π

Steve McQueenβs second episode of Small Axe felt like such a unique filmmaking venture. Has there ever been anything else like it?
I want a fiction film that is entirely filled with atmosphere with plot on the back burner, and that has a thriving joy at its center like that one.
Bill Preston and Ted Logan were created by stand-up comics/wannabe screenwriters Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon who had βa comedy bitβ about two dim-witted high schoolers/wannabe rock musicians, based on Jeff Spiccoli from βFast Times At Ridgemont Highβ, who were trying to study for their history class. They decided to write a series of short bits to pitch for a movie or TV show. Chrisβs father, the sci-fi writer Richard Matheson ("I am Legend"), suggested they connect the bits with one over-arching sci-fi story and pitch it as a movie. They came up with the idea of a time-machine, which was originally a van.
For the roles of Bill and Ted, they auditioned practically every male teen in Hollywood. Relative unknowns, Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves met in the lobby and became good friends. The producers recognized Keanuβs star power and hired him immediately for Ted. Keanu continued to read to help audition other actors for the role of Bill. In between auditions, he hung out with Alex Winters, and the two hung out after auditions. The producers recognized a genuine friendship and chemistry and took a chance on Alex Winters.
Interestingly, while rehearsing, Alex thought he was cast as Ted, and Keanu thought he was cast as Bill. When they showed up for the first day of filming, they were told they memorized the wrong roles. Alex and Keanu have remained close friends since Bill & Tedβs Excellent Adventure. You can see old audition videos on YouTube where they call each other the "wrong" names.
Both writer's Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon have Hitchcock-esque cameos in their films. In Excellent Adventure, they are the ice cream parlor waiters. In Bogus Journey, they are part of Missy's Seance. In Face the Music, they play the two demons who give our heroes directions.
Hope you enjoyed them! Party On, Friends!
Hello everyone! Just watched the movie Underwater (2020) and I quite enjoyed the science fiction/thriller/horror/suspense of the unknown in the ocean. I was wondering if there are some books that capture this same vibe? Thanks!
I'm writing a film that features a scene in an airport, amidst airport construction. Anyone with some experience of the space would be extremely helpful. Thank you!
