I Write This Post With A Heavy Heart. (Also my first post here.)
The Title of this book is terrifying but believe me the story is even worse, It's heart-breaking to read, but what else to expect when you are going to read a story untold thus far and conveniently hidden and kept out of the mainstream.
Brutal history told in a quiet, resolute and matter-of-fact manner. Bound to shake up our basic faith in the so-called democracy that we live in and also all that we call journalism today.

° On 19th January 1990, they used the mosque loudspeakers, “HUM KYA CHAAHTE: AZADII !!” “Assi gacchi panu’nuy Pakistan, batav rostuy, batenein saaan” - “The crowd wanted to turn Kashmir into Pakistan, without the pandit men, but with their WOMEN”
° The people of the village increasing the volume of the loudspeaker in the mosque to muffle the sounds of the gunfire, on 25th January 1998. The family of Vinod Dhar was killed that day, he survives tho.
Many were killed, raped, looted, forcefully converted and they were forced to leave their houses, their lands just because they were “KASHMIRI PANDIT”.
Even if I read so how about Kashmir, Kashmiri pandits. I can never understand their pain. And I wonder how Kashmiri Pandits have felt, When the same slogans were raised in Delhi. “Hum kya chahte Azadiii” many more.
The details of the killings are a bit disturbing but it does give a clearer understanding of what the way they were driven out of their homes with no choice other than fleeing. Not only did they lose their homes, their work and occupation but a part of themselves. The pandits have been the unheard community for more than two decades. Their grievances hardly used to make it to the mainstream. It is only recently that their suffering has started to be documented with a much serious level.
~ Girija Tickoo, a Kashmiri Pandit, had left the valley and had settled in Jammu in the wake of the "Azadi Movement" by the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front. Girija worked as a laboratory assistant at Government High School, Trehgam before fleeing the valley.
One fine day, she received a call from someone who told her that the hostile movement in the valley had ebbed and she can come to Bandipora and collect her salary. She was assured that she would return home safe and that the territory was now harmless. Little did she know that her movements were closely watched by her assassins.

I am not much a fast reader but the book, Our Moon Has Blood Clots by Rahul Pandita, was completed in less than a day.
The book goes deep into the first hand experience of the author while he describes the atrocities suffered by his family and countless other Kashmiri Pandits.
What really is interesting here is that the book is not to make one emotional or develop empathy, moreover, it is to develop knowledge and awareness of tortures faced in 1947, 1990, 1998 etc which suprisingly is not covered in the Indian history books taught to students.
Furrhermore, as a human being, it does make me shiver as to how easy it has been till now to trample the lives of thousands / countless Kashmiri Pandits over the years.
The question now that comes to my mind is - will this continue or can it be stopped?
PS - the book is brilliant.
Currently, it's been 25 hours after my operation. I got four wisdom teeth removed, all impacted but not severe. 8 or so hours after my surgery, I felt a really bad pain on my top right extraction that resolved itself within an hour (after I took pain meds, but the pain has not gotten any worse after I think they've worn off). Right now I would say I'm about a 3/10 with pain, which on day 2 I'd figure is kind of off.
How do I know if a blood clot has formed? Should I be in more pain? The swelling hasn't happened and I'm concerned it could hit me like a truck

What could we do to help that? I was just made aware of this and it sounds alarming that no attention is being paid.
Hmm… has ozempic made anyone pass blood clots in their stool?
My mom is in the hospital. She finished 6 weeks of radiation last week. She had a doctors appointment Monday and they said she was low on fluids so they took her to the hospital. Now she’s in the hospital and has blood clots in her lungs. I visited her in the hospital yesterday and when I got to her room she was saying she’s scared and reached for my hand. I don’t know what she’s scared of. She doesn’t open her eyes anymore. And she slept most of the time I was visiting her. Is this normal and is it possible for her to recover? Is she in this condition because of the radiation treatment?
I’m wondering about side effects, risks to me and the baby while on blood thinners during pregnancy. Automatically the doc told me I’d be a high risk pregnancy. Does anyone know how risky it is really or has anyone experienced pregnancy and birth while on blood thinners? Any advice appreciated!
So I started master mode today thought I'd head to hyrule ridge first as I was planning on stocking up on apples as 4 hearts is not enough. When I figured I'd get all the shrines in the ridge so I did a few then I remembered... blood moon shrine lives around here but it turns out not 5 seconds after I remembered a blood moon happened so I did what every normal person would do and wind bombed my way to it and now it's done and I don't have to wait 6 hours for it to work.
