I've come across a few references to a video of David Sharp next to Green Boots that was filmed by a Sherpa wearing a helmet cam.
Does anyone know where I can find this video ??
A little introduction:
Hey there! My name is Hambis1901 and I have been teaching raids and helping people complete them for around 3 years now! I am from the UK and I play on both XB1 and PC. I am looking to help as many people as I can in completing the raids they have not yet tried. I have a group of around 20 different sherpas, all with the express purpose of helping YOU!
What do I do to get a sherpa?

Does this actually work?
Yes! So far I have personally sherpa'd over 220 guardians complete raids they have never even attempted before and helped over 700 people get their first completions too. There is always a raid sherpa every day too!
Extra Information:
Our sherpas are from all around the world, so timezones won't be an issue! We will always have an experienced player ready to pair up with you. You also have the ability to schedule your own sherpa raids around YOU, that way, experienced players can join on your availability.

Not only would this incentivize more people to take newer players through the raids but it would give Sherpas something more to chase than just an arbitrary number on an emblem.

I finally decided to sherpa some randoms through Last Wish today. It didn't go badly, we finished the raid in about 4 hours but man is it tough on a mental level. Having 5 people rely on your explanations and calls to complete the thing is beyond stressfull, especially when the team gets stuck at a certain encounter you can't help but feel responsible for every wipe. I always appreciated sherpas, but now you guys have my utmost respect as I can't imagine myself guiding players again any time soon as it's so draining and nerve-racking. You are absolute legends and thank you for your service.

I just got an oculus quest and have begun to explore VR.
VR chat has been extremely interesting, but I was curious if anyone had suggestions on world's or things to do.
A friend and myself are looking to do the GoS raid this weekend for the first time and would like to do it with the divinity puzzles to receive the weapon at the end.
Weβre a 1312 Warlock and 1313 Hunter, weβre both at the last Divinity step and we both have weapons as the Xenophage, Lament, Guillotine and slug shotguns unlocked.
We would like to run it this weekend and would be able to start tonight between 8 - 10pm BST, Saturday between 8 - 10pm BST, or Sunday the full day BST time.

Lots of experience with D2 and some raids from D1, just never had the timing work out when I have the free time to try a raid on D2. Looking to change that tomorrow! Have most the exotics and run a Titan main.
So I'm nobody special. Your typical blueberry who doesn't feel they really have the gear/skill set needed to take on the raids or other high skill endgame content. On one of the various discords I had gotten into a discussion about this, and a clan dragged along for my first DSC clear and holy Heck. The loot alone was cool, but huge props to the art and level design teams. You knocked it outta the park!
And more importantly a huge shout-out to the wonderful folks that dragged me through it. Yall were patient, clear and super helpful. The community is stronger for every one of you that sacrifice a few hours to Sherpa less experienced players <3
We are a close knit group of men and women in our 20s and 30s who play on Xbox. We have members all around the world and are active throughout the day, but we are primarily active during the hours of 7pm to 11:30pm EST. We raid at least 3 nights a week at 8PM EST, and post teaching raids often. If you have been wanting to try out the endgame of Destiny but didn't know where to start, we are here to help. I didnβt know what to make of it. I couldnβt work out if the documentary was trying to paint Operators in a negative light. There was a lot of blame thrown at the government but I felt like the operators were exploiting the Sherpa people the most. I donβt want to drop any spoilers but the show centers around one operator who comes across both humanistic and callous. It did make me slightly hate the whole process. A rich person wants to tick off a bucket list adventure, pays and exorbitant amount of money to a middle man, doesnβt bat an eye as exploited staff to do most of the hard work for them, and then blames those same workers if anything goes wrong. All the while thinking theyβre saints for paying Sherpas less than theyβd pay their gardener for a weeks work.
If you want to go so bad, pay them an appropriate amount for protecting your life, or learn to do it without a Sherpa altogether.
