A list of puns related to "Shang dynasty"
I was listening to a podcast about the history of China and she was mentioned as an exception to the role the women of her time played but when I checked Wikipedia, apparently, some of the other wives of Wu Ding also led military campaigns. So my question is, if and how Fu Has exceeded these other women. Thank you.

Hey, I am looking for help. So I decided to read some books about pre-imperial China (Shang and Zhou), but I can't seem to find any book that covers that period. Any recommendations?
I am writing a thesis regarding the language development during the Shang Dynasty and the ,, literature,, , all sorts of texts that were written then. Could you help me with some book recommendations that are found online about this topic?
The cultural traditions in China seem older than anywhere in the West. Certain design motifs such as dragons and tigers seem to be similar from as long ago as 2000 B.C. I'm curious to what extent this is reflected in artifacts. I know artifacts are often revered and passed down within families for a long time. What I would like to understand is what artifacts have been passed down like this, whether in a family, an organization, or a church, from the earliest date?
It's complicated by the fact that in China, there has been some tradition of digging up bronze artifacts, cleaning them up, and putting them on display for a very long time. While these may be older, the chain of ownership is broken and so the artifact may mean something very different to the one who digs it up.
Here are some things I would like a better understanding of: What kinds of ancient artifacts are commonly passed down? What are the oldest we know of, that haven't been lost and then dug up again? Do these traditions continue today, or have they largely ended? I understand that there were thousands of artifacts from the Imperial household. Are any of those especially old?
