A list of puns related to "Seventh son of a seventh son"
Let me explain myself before you crucify me. First, every song on the album is great. Moonchild is an awesome opener, Infinite Dreams is probably the best song on the album, CIPWM and The Evil That Men Do are both incredible, the title track is top tier, The Prophecy is amazing, The Clairvoyant is one of their best songs, and Only The Good Die Young is incredible. This is also a concept album, following a sort of mystic theme. The production is great, Steveβs bass shines on a lot of the tracks, the guitar is delightful to listen to, and Bruceβs vocals are great, especially after the exhaustion of touring and the panic of recording SiT within a few weeks. The cover art is also great, probably one of their best Riggs covers, and it also gave us the image of some of the previous Eddies frozen in ice.
Was going to do a poll but I could only enter 6 options as I'm curious what everyone's favorite song from this treasured album is-but then realized that a ranking would be neat to see as well. I have a hunch what the #1 song will be and I also have a hunch that many think this song is a Maiden catalog top 5.
Welcome back to Edwardβs Banquet! Everyday weβll be dining on the finest studio albums and discussing our King Edward the Greatβs many adventures (In chronological order of course)!
I meanβ¦ itβs Seventh Son of a Seventh Son. What more do you want me to say?
How did it take this long for Iron Maiden to release a concept album? Seriously these guys are the masters of storytelling and itβs actually surprising it took seven albums to get to this point. That being said, my word did they deliver! This album is a masterpiece, I honestly believe that. Itβs not my favourite, but I cannot possibly deny its incredible quality. I cannot possibly argue with anybody who reveres this as their favourite album from the band and I adore it whenever I come back for a listen!
Iβd say my three favourite songs here are
These feasts are just far too delicious so far, it almost makes you suspicious whatβs nextβ¦ All hail Edward the Great!
Hiya! Itβs me again, and yes, we are back with another tier list, and this time maybe the best Maiden album? Well for lots of fans it is, for me itβs a masterpiece but not my favorite tbh.
But anyway, here we are with the tier list, and I got to say that even though I tried my best to rank the songs, no matter how I would rank them, I wasnβt never gonna be satisfied with the result, because I really love every song from this album, and youβll see later that this is not the only album I had this problem with.
Comment below your tier list and please notice that this is my opinion on which song I like the most, Iβm not saying which song is better, everyone can have their own opinion.
Songs ranked from FAVORITE TO LESS FAVORITE:
1.- Only the Good Die Young

5.- The Clairvoyant
6.- Moonchild
7.- The Prophecy
8.- Infinite Dreams
Delving into the golden era today (and welcoming Adrian back) with my favorite ever album, 1988's Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son. And while I believe it's a perfect album in every sense, we've all assembled here for one thing only: the solos.
Moonchild:
Such a cool solo section - love the tapping by Dave.
Infinite Dreams:
There's some soloing/improv in the first, clean verse in the background - not count-worthy but FYI, it's Dave.
Can I Play With Madness?:
The Evil That Men Do:
Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son:
This is the best song Maiden have ever recorded, as well as having the absolute best solo and harmony section in any Maiden song and I will die on this hill. Nothing will ever top this one for me.
The Prophecy:
Such an underrated song, solo and chord progression don't get enough love. Not to mention the outro.
The Clairvoyant:
Only The Good Die Young:
Steve is definitly doing a bass solo in here for me, fits really nice. The other solos are strong too, wish this song (and album that is) would just be a tad longer.
Stats:
= 15 (16, if you count Steve in) guitar solos on Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son (only 1(/2) more than Virtual XI, second lowest amount so far)
See you tomorrow for Somewhere In Time!

... keep reading on reddit β‘I can get a pink, blue, or green one. But the one that is the model that he can use for a longer time that I liked the look of is pink. But, I'm a girl. Thank you for your help. Have a good summer.
Edited to add that the school just requires a simple scientific calculator so I looked on target.com and found some that were less than $10. Which one do you recommend and why, if it's not going to really be used, I would rather just go for a cheap one LOL.
Also how much money did you guys or your parents spend on back to school shopping? Currently I'm at about a hundred and $10 for two kids one. I thank you for your help again everybody. This is why I love read it.
I mean they did play the evil that men do which was amazing but why not play other things off the album?
So basically I listened to SSOASS again and knowing itβs a concept album and I was wondering if thereβs a article or video out there picking out each song and Explaining the plot of the album, thanks!
So I'm home alone, working on my final uni essay before I graduate. I've been sat staring at my laptop for hours now. I'm stressed as hell and then I start hearing Maiden and it keeps gets louder and louder. For a second there I genuinely thought it was in my head.
Turns out someone working a Saturday shift at the building site near me brought a speaker to work with them and is an Iron Maiden fan.
Definitely not complaining!
Kinda made my day so wanted to share.
Fantasy/medieval setting, first book started with this guy called Silas adopting a girl who ends up being the princess, he had 6 sons but his seventh son who he thought was dead(maybe) ends up being alive and in the hands of the evil dude. The main character goes back in time in one book. That's all I remember unfortunately.
Solved! Solved!
Sorry not more info I read it in Jr high so maybe 10 years ago. It's starts off with him at his families house as a child. He finds the buckle first before becoming the apprentice.
Week 7 - Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son
Original release date - 23 April 1988
Producer - Martin Birch
Tracklist:
What are your thoughts on this album? What are your favorite and least favorite tracks on the album? How do you rank the album amongst your favorites?
Mine is the title track.
Then Seventh Son of a Seventh Son would've been the seventh song on the seventh album, named Seventh Son of a Seventh Son. Also, Bruce should've sang "seventh son of a seventh son" seven times instead of eight times during the chorus.
