A list of puns related to "Serotonin antagonist and reuptake inhibitor"
As in title, what effects does those have on HRT?
Can somebody explain how serotonin and noradrenaline reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs) are working on patients and for example taking it may lead to anhedonia?
Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) I'm I'm currently in Thailand and I ran out of my medication I'm wondering is there any hospitals in Thailand serve ssri. I'm in krabi at moment Thanks

I love people but I'm a dinosaur and also socially anxious at times like we can be alone in the same room and I could just stay silent all the time because there's not much to talk about. But maybe I could talk about that one time I danced in the streets which medical professionals could classify as a breakdown.
Also I am going through all Top Chef π seasons and currently on the 10th season. Normal things, normal life, not worth speaking about things that have already been said such as how are you doing and adjectives such as well-mannered, sparingly, and astronomically-challenged.

It's the only thing that works for my allergies - I take 24mg daily, in the form of twice daily time-release 12mg tablets, and the antidepressant action is actually noticeable - surprising for a drug available OTC.
It's available cheaply as bulk generic 2mg and 4mg IR tablets as well, but I prefer the easier dosing schedule of the extended release tablets.
Half-life is up to 44 hours, so assuming 7 half-lives for effective elimination, you'd want to wait about two weeks (~12.83 days) before taking serotonergic drugs or those with SSRI interactions, just to be safe.
I can also vouch for discontinuing use without horrific withdrawal symptoms besides the return of my allergies, and some minor dysphoria, malaise, and irritability, which resolves within 7-10 days.
I know it's not really a go-to drug for depression, but I'd be willing to bet people take it without being aware of the SSRI activity.
Hey folks,
Im on Clomipramine and a few other medications. Clomipramine is a strong Serotonin/ Norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor.
My question: Can I take Black Pepper (Piper Nigrum) while being on it? Ive found this excerpt ("Piperine, an active compound in black pepper**, inhibits an enzyme that breaks down the calming neurotransmitter** serotonin*") .*
I am scared of Serotonin Syndrome. But literally every preworkout I want to take has an ingredient that interacts with Serotonin. Am I paranoids? What is your take on the issue?
Thanks so much!

I take 60 mg Cymbalta. Do I need to be off this medication for 2 weeks before M-dosing; or can I gradually come off Cymbalta while microdosing??
So I remember that I've read somewhere that when coffee is consumed regularly your body will develop a tolerance to it by increasing the number of adenosine receptors in your brain which will cause it to lose its effect.
However, when initially taking SSRIs, they do not have any effect on you whatsoever, they only start working after 1 to 3 weeks of taking them and they will reach their full effect after even more weeks have passed.
So my question is: Do SSRIs increase the number of serotonin receptors in your brain just like how coffee does for adenosine, causing them to lose their effect in the long run? If not, why is that the case for SSRIs and not for coffee?
