Just got notified that our South Pacific cruise aboard Celebrity Eclipse, sailing out of New Zealand in March 2022, is no more. And we had just booked our flights too.
So back to the analysis to figure out if we want to lift/shift, take the FCC, or take the refund. And then figure out what to do with our flight.
So a reminder to all - while ships are sailing, always be flexible and roll with the punches. You never know what’ll hit your inbox and what it’ll do to your best laid plans.
Semper Gumby means, "Always Flexible." It's a play on the motto "Semper Fidelis" that the US armed forces uses. Perhaps we could incorporate this some way into our own ops? Even if just in noob squads or something. A sniper rifle can be used in close combat. A rocket launcher can be used against infantry, etc. If you're in a tank with no ammo, run fuckers over, etc. Just something to give thought to.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
