A list of puns related to "Self organization"
A client I worked for who is a self-proclaimed "socialist" and "woke" non-profit organization leader tried to commit wage theft against me. I pointed out the extreme hypocrisy and got my full payment. Definitely not working for them anymore! Read the thread though, their reasoning is quite laughable!

I am leading some engineering (not IT) projects and would like to read some helpful book(s) on the topic and maybe something how I can be better, keep myself focused and motivated. I am always under the impression that everyday struggles and annoyances suck the ambition right out of me.
A lot of books about project management and technics at work are focused on IT environments and software development or introduce complete new concepts (agile and so on). But my work depends on more than a few coders doing their job and I won't change processes in the whole company.
Maybe somebody here knows some good books. I read "Thinking like a Rocket Scientist", which had a few interesting points already.
EDIT: Thank you u/pragmatic-guy, I copied the wrong SRO title for this one. Would delete and resubmit but don't want to kill the discussion. If Mods wish to kill and repost, completely understand. I apologize for the mixup!!! Will stop trying to read these two at a time :(

Currently, trades between a Sponsoring Member and its Sponsored Member do not independently create liquidity risk for FICC. Under its Rules, if a Sponsoring Member defaults, FICC may close out (that is, cash settle) the Sponsored Member trades of the defaulting Sponsoring Member. Similarly, if a Sponsored Member defaults, FICC may offset its settlement obligations to the Sponsoring Member against the Sponsoring Memberβs obligations under the Sponsoring Member Guaranty to perform on behalf of its defaulting Sponsored Member. Thus, in both default scenarios, FICC bears no liquidity risk.

And it was all done voluntarily without coercion, taking from others or harming others. Individuals working together did this, not a government. BTC (or whatever coin you prefer) was created voluntarily, the network is run voluntarily, adoption is done voluntarily and innovation is done voluntarily. Now large companies everywhere are adopting and adding onto it voluntarily. And if you step back and think about it, it's amazing. And it's just the beginning. Look at is what's possible with DAOs for instance. I say this because I've seen some posts recently of people trying to tell others what they can't say or think on here. They are wrong.
Hey, not sure if this is allowed to be posted.
Essentially i am looking after both a e-book reader and e-book management solution, being googling around but nothing i find really fits my needs and wishes. The goal is to make my workflow less of a hassle.
What i am looking after must have/be able to:
- Handle many e-books (my library is over 50gb of e-books) (this makes all "hosted" solutions either to expensive or just not possible)
- Sync reading progress across multiple devices
- Sync Annotation across multiple devices
- Allow me to neatly organize books
- Allow me to sync annotations into Obsidian.md

Been listening to Simon Garner a scientist who studies collective behaviors.
Is this example of anarchy in nature ?
The puppy pinwheel, army ants, slime molds etc are examples of self organizing in nature.
The self organizing is base around the ability of interacting with each other and modifying each others behavior ever so slightly they can achieve a synchronization as a collective without the need for an βarchitectβ.
This type of behavior is currently captured with mathematics and used in algorithms to solve problem. Iβm wondering if itβs also used to create digital barriers between people like a kind of inhibitor in order to make grouping up more difficult.
So Iβm seeing many parallels with anarchism, in the idea of a βsuper organismβ but larger swarms requires specializations of certain tasks, I guess that would be like division of labor. This kind of thing happens in the brain also. I suppose if it happened organically it could still be considered anarchy.
Iβm most fascinated by this idea of βliquid brainβ, where in the individual acts as a free floating neuron that creates processes in a seemingly more fluid way.
What are yβallβs thoughts? I know some people are anti-work all together.

This proposed rule extends this setup to the close of business on March 18, 2022.

The Exchange proposes to extend the pilot related to the market-wide circuit breaker in Rule 7.12E to the close of business on March 18, 2022.
The Market-Wide Circuit Breaker (βMWCBβ) rules, including the Exchange's Rule 7.12E, provide an important, automatic mechanism that is invoked to promote stability and investor confidence during periods of significant stress when cash equities securities experience extreme market-wide declines. The MWCB rules are designed to slow the effects of extreme price declines through coordinated trading halts across both cash equity and equity options securities markets.
The cash equities rules governing MWCBs were first adopted in 1988 and, in 2012, all U.S. cash equity exchanges and FINRA amended their cash equities uniform rules on a pilot basis (the βPilot Rules,β i.e., Rule 7.12E (a)-(d)).[4] The Pilot Rules currently provide for trading halts in all cash equity securities during a severe market decline as measured by a single-day decline in the S&P 500 Index (βSPXβ).[[5](https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2021/10/06/2021-21773/self-regulatory-o
