A list of puns related to "See Saw Margery Daw"
Which film is it where a British girl is singing βsee saw margery daw johnny shall have a new master...β in a slow and slightly creepy way? Itβs not a major point of the movie I just have it in my head in that voice and canβt remember where itβs from
Sorry for being somewhat opaque, I will just say my friend has some learning disabilities, and so the interface being simple would be of high priority. At the same time, we would like to balance that with capability. So in other words, if we had to go slightly more complicated interface, in order to get nice sounding results, that would be worth considering.
I've done some research, and the one that jumps out is the FL Studio Mobile, but I am a bit worried because it says 14.99 USD cost, followed by "in app purchases" so are they going to force us to keep re-upping, or is it a monthly subscription? Besides, we aren't sold on that app :)
Sorry for the wall of text, thank you for any help you are able to offer.
I'm trying to get my guitar plug-ins to play through my Yamaha THR30II, and I've connected this to the L/R monitor outputs of my Apollo Twin and this extension cable to get some extra distance out of it, but so far unable to get any sound through the amp at all. I've set the input and output to the Apollo Twin in Live 11, and I can see the guitar track metering in Live 11 and on the Apollo Twin, but no such luck with any sound. I've tried various combinations of cabling, and fiddling with the settings, but nothing seems to work. The Live 11 track is also set to "auto" and recording is enabled, so I should be getting audio. I've done the same routing with a Scarlett 2i2 (same dual mono to single stereo cable), and it works flawlessly, so I must be doing something stupid. Can someone help steer me in the right direction? Thank you!
[EDIT] Just tried a regular TRS from the headphone ouput to the amp, and still no sound. Any ideas?
The other day I was reading an interview with Hans Zimmer and he said this:
>"A computer is a musical instrument that needs just as much practice as when you practice the piano, or the violin or the cello. Iβm definitely a better programmer than I am a player. If you ask me what my instrument is, Iβll tell you itβs the computer."
It made me think about the fact that for some time now, I've been so devoted to studying Ableton and how to use it for sound design and production that I already see it as an instrument. The guitar that I played for so many years is in a corner in my room collecting dust now and it's used occasionally for reference but I no longer felt any interest in playing it. The guitar no longer fits in the context of the genres in which I am interested in producing and I use my laptop to create new chord progressions, melodies, texturex, etc, etc...
I think I can relate in a deep level to what producer and rapper JPEGMAFIA once said in an interview: "The DAW/Computer is my favorite musical instrument."
