Edit: lots of folks have pointed out it could be fat mans, hacked weapons, nuka grenades, etc. What I don't like is people who keep launching these things and turning my screen white for three seconds at a time, and then doing it over and over and over again no matter how many people give them thumbs-down emojis.
Edit 2: sounds like it's specifically Nuka grenades.
Iβm assuming it really was a new player since the player icon was the standard vault boy. But I couldnβt help but laugh when I saw him charge at the queen with the party hat while wielding a machete.
Needless to say, he showed no mercy.
Not a 'Yotes fan, but was looking over their cap friendly and this immediately jumped out to me. *After they trade Chychrun and presumably get another haul for him, the Coyotes will have 4 skaters and no goalies who are either not signed beyond this year, or on ELC contracts.
https://www.capfriendly.com/teams/coyotes
-They spent up to 75 million of the cap eating bad contracts and building draft capital to the tune of 8 picks in the first round of this year's draft. Add Chychrun and they're looking at at least 9, and probably one for next year as well.
-Returning to my point about having four skaters signed beyond this year: They're planning on doing the exact same thing next year, in a draft that's looking like one of the best in years.
They're not even pretending they're trying to be competitive the next year or so and it's going to result in a nuclear stockpile worth of picks in a two year span that I can't remember a team having before.
I should begin by saying I feel disheartened and disenfranchised.
While I lean left, I also come from a family of staunch conservatives. I have been raised by people who are βrightβ, but the morals they taught me lean me βleftβ. But if you look online or at Reddit, everyone who votes differently than me is an insane person who is a moron and also hates [insert group].
Iβm tired of the notion that only a scared or angry voting base go out to vote reliably.
I just want to be in a society that realizes 80% of us would probably get along great, but there are many people who find value, riches, power, or purpose in keeping us hating each other and divided, and I think thereβs nothing we can do to fix that. For better or worse, fear and division sell and drive likes. Popularity is more important today than reason. Moderation and an effort at unity does not, at least not to the same urgency that division does. And social media exacerbates this.
Edit attempting at clarity: At the end of the day, I believe the politicians who gain the limelight these days are not those who seek logic, reasonableness or context, but rather those who drive as deep of a wedge with βthe other sideβ as possible. I think the circles and groups surrounding politics on social media exacerbate this, and I think the primary system we have in the USA puts the nail in the coffin here - popular party candidates are no longer chosen based on what a majority of voters may prefer, but rather based on what the most vocal and extreme (and therefore reliably voting and donating) would prefer. CMV.
Anyone else think it would he cool if in a future update that, destroyed tanks, guns and other vehicle's would remain behind as wrecks? Like when destroyed they changed to terrain objects? And also Logi could come reclaim/salvage some of what's left? Would also make the front line a bit more self sustainable.
Seriously, what? Why? Why are we enabling the people who are fucking up the planet we all have to live on? Why do we serve them their meals and drive their cars and clean their laundry? I have a fantasy where every POS rich person who got what they got through human suffering and exploitation is just...ignored.
Seriousky, try it. Pick your least favorite corrupt politician or out-of-touch space-fucking billionaire and play a scene in your mind where they wake up and no one acknowledges them.
Imagine their pissy little hissy fits when they demand their breakfast or clothes for the day or whatever only to be met by total silence and an indifferent, formerly-loyal workforce. Imagine their pathetic little scrunched up face getting redder and redder when they realize that they've lost it, it's gone...they can't coerce or bribe or threaten people to do their bidding anymore. They have to fucking cooperate if they want to live.
I know there will ALWAYS be indoctrinated dipshits who froam at the mouth in a frenzy to serve the predator class, but WHY? Why, after all the mounting evidence that billionaires and the "elite" are essentially parasites who make the world objectively worse through the working conditions they create and the environmental abuses they perpetuate, why do we KEEP WORKING TO MAKE THEIR LIVES COMFORTABLE WHILE THEY LAY THE FOUNDATION FOR OUR DEATHS?
The ultra-rich are acting like the global climate catastrophe doesn't matter to them, because it doesn't; their money will insulate them no matter how bad things get. Well, I fucking wish we could change that. Oh no, Jess Bezo's hydroponic farm in his secret New Zealand apocalypse island needs someone to maintain it? Get fucked Jeff, no self-sustaining food source unless you put the work in and do it yourself or else learn how to cooperate with the rest of humanity.
Seriously, can we all just keep doing what we're doing and start working towards a healthier planet and society, while actively ignoring ultra-rich parasites in the process? We don't need a guillotine, all we need to do us stop serving these fucks until they realize what the "we're in this together" message their companies and governments propagate really means.
Whats the answer here? Why are we apparently more than okay to keep cleaning up after the shits who keep wrecking things for the rest of us?
Oh and if you're here to defend billionaires because "they help people by creating jobs" or whatever fucking excuse you use to sta

Noticed there's a weird amount of hate for scorched earth on the subreddit and in the community in general. So, people who hate/dislike the map, why is it? I know a number of people don't like it because it's a paid DLC that launched during early access (which is admittedly scummy), but I think the map is a nice change of pace from the usual rotation that I've seen.
We had a situation in a recent game where the Scoundrel entered a clearing containing a number of non-hostile factions and their warriors, totalling 15. The scoundrel used the Scorched Earth ability, and then claimed that he scored 15 points because he removed 15 hostile warriors.
Is this legit? Does the Scorched Earth ability instantly make all other factions hostile, and therefore score points for warrior removal? Or does it take a turn for the hostile status to take effect, because the enemy warriors are removed instantly and simultaneously?
Happy to provide more specificity if necessary.
When A Colossal Problem was going to be released there was supposedly going to be an objective to weaken Earle to beat him or else he would be unbeatable. Something about searching piles or something. I think Bethesda changed it because the community (in my opinion) doesn't like doing side objectives, they just like shooting and looting.
I usually am the one who has to do all 3 Pylons for Encrypted, I usually have to max out the feeders for Project: Paradise, and more often than not post/pre Rad Rumble I was always getting the ores.
The people I play with (on Xbox) just don't like doing side objectives, just like blasting.
Let's say the universe used to be a hyper-competitive, life-rich, resource-poor environment where life popped into existence everywhere it could, and where many different civilisations fought over resources. A kind of universal-level overpopulation. And let's say there's limited resources.
A spacefaring alien race would be incentivised to go around the universe essentially settling the worlds it can inhabit, and it would be incentivised to nuke worlds that it canβt effectively inhabit but which can play host to a different form of life. This would be done to make sure that life on these planets never reach a stage where it can compete with it, but it also would be done even to potential planets which are candidates for life but haven't developed life yet to make sure that they never develop there. This would be done to suppress competition before it even arises and prevent the same type of cosmic overpopulation occurring in its vicinity. It would also territorially police its "cosmic turf".
Species that did not do this would find their region of space becoming extremely overpopulated, resource-poor and fractured with conflict between different alien races, and would leave themselves open to invasion by those who did adopt such a "scorched earth" approach. Thus this approach became the universal modus operandi.
Is this a logical concept?
I'm at the artifact caves where the artifact spawns and it's not spawned in how do I get it to spawn
This feels like when the coalition forces kicked Saddam out of Kuwait. As his troops were retreating, they lit all of the oil wells on fire. We know that a handful of HF's have recently shuttered their doors. We know that Citadel recently raised cash by selling off a +5% stake in the company......for the first time in their history. Kinda feels like desperation to me. Buy & HODL!!!
I've recently been playing scorched earth and noticed there haven't been any supply drops, is this normal? There are drops on the other maps, just not scorched earth
Back when IK was debating what to do with Rizvi and how to handle TLP, he said he wanted military intervention but Bajwa said it was a bad idea because we'd get the same outcome when we fought TTP.
I'm just curious what do you all think would really happen?
If we start an anti-terror campaign, I feel like we would risk an APS 2.0. On the other hand TLP is more like an angry mob than a militia organization like TTP was, so the army would theoretically have no problem beating their heads.
Also if we don't do that, then what should we do anyway?
