A list of puns related to "Satoshi Kon"
First things first, Perfect Blue is probably the best psychological thriller movie, I have ever seen. Throughout this movie, I was at the edge of my seat with experiencing numerous jump scares and my heartbeat increasing as the movie goes on. My expectations were high from this movie as it was Satoshi Kon one, but it surpassed them easily, like the direction was surreal and animation has very realistic touches especially the character designs.
Story-wise, from the surface, it appears to be a normal story but as we move on, it gets complicated and at one point it felt like what is even happening in this movie? With constant transition and beautiful use of dual personality through mirrors, it was a cinematography masterpiece(spoiler alert). But the real thing was at the ending sequence that really elevated the movie to greater heights for me. I divided my entire experience into these three following parts:
Initial reaction: As soon as the ending credits roll, I was like that's it and what just happened there, especially the chase scene. For the first few minutes, I was like it was a weird movie and needed more explanation.
Realization: To get a better understanding, I searched on Google, 'Perfect Blue explained' and no good article came but there was a question about 'who was the antagonist of Perfect Blue?'. I was like, it's such a simple question but as soon as I clicked it, I got chills from the name of character it showed. One article later, it made a lot of sense and made the movie a great watch for me. But what the ending line meant and its significance is still a mystery to me.
Ambiguity: After thinking a lot, one part made me believe that 2nd point is the answer while the other thinks that it was something more. On top of that, this OST is making me mad and leaving me with a lot of questions.
Overall, a brilliant movie that brought all sorts of emotions out of me. If you haven't watched it yet, do give it a shot.

I just watched it for the first time yesterday and have never seen a psychological thriller let alone any movie as creative as Perfect Blue.
i am a big fan of Satoshi Konβs work. I have collected all of his movies in 720p in past few years . I just saw all of them have been re-released on blurays. Does anybody has any link to bluray ripped versions on google drive ? All of the bluray torrentβs are dead .

Ive just finished Perfect Blue and it is by far my favourite Kon movie. I really, really loved it. So i was wondering if you guys have any suggestions for anime similiar to Kons' work? Thanks in advance :)
I enjoyed Paranoia Agent, Perfect Blue, and Paprika. I'm looking for something with similiar vibe
Idk where to post this. Idk if it's even relevant. Just a pattern I noticed.
Like, the day after I watched the first few episodes of Paranoia Agent I got into an argument with my Ndad. Today I watched Tokyo Godfathers and I got into an argument with my Ndad. Is Satoshi Kon's work so emotionally taxing? Luckily no arguments happened after I watched Perfect Blue.

Let me known if yall have questions.
I just finished Patlabor 1 and 2 and they were outstanding. Iβve always been a fan of the original Ghost in the Shell films by Mamoru Oshii, and Iβm also a big fan of Satoshi Kon, especially Perfect Blue. What other intelligent anime films would you recommend?
Legendary filmmaker Satoshi Kon was lost to this world much too soon. I hope we can honor him by watching his films. In the forth installment of our discussion series, we will be talking about: Paprika.
