I've just read Roselia BS3, thought I'd like to share a summary of it. Please correct me if there are any errors in the details or if there are (EDIT) any important details missing.
(EDIT 3) This story is a continuation of the Noble Rose event stories, so I recommend that you read those first if you haven't.
After noticing that a band which won the judges' award of the selection contest for FUTURE WORLD FES (see the second Noble Rose event story) went pro, Roselia discussed about their wishes to go pro. Everyone besides Yukina said that they wanted to go pro.
After a live, Roselia was scouted by someone named Harumi, who is a manager for a music agency. Harumi said that the agency would give them an opportunity to go pro. Yukina said that she was interested in the opportunity and so Harumi gave them a tour of the agency. After the tour, Roselia had a discussion on whether to accept the offer and Yukina decided to return to the agency and accept their offer. However, as a final test, they had to perform in an event hosted by the agency and play the song LOUDER.
Yukina agreed to do so, despite having previously decided not to play the song anymore. Everyone else was confused at Yukina's decision, as Yukina usually would not go back on her decisions. However, Yukina said she would do it for the sake of Roselia's future.
(EDIT 3) LOUDER is a song written by Yukina's father. This song represented her father's failed dream of going to FUTURE WORLD FES. As Roselia has finally managed to sing on the FUTURE WORLD FES stage, where they sang LOUDER for the last time, the song was deemed to have served its purpose and Yukina at that time decided that Roselia will not play LOUDER anymore.
However, during practice they were not able to play LOUDER well. Others started to doubt Yukina was actually willing to play LOUDER again for the sake of going pro, and Sayo eventually confronted Yukina. Yukina admitted that she had nothing specific in mind about as to why she wanted to go pro. She was just going along with the others who wanted to go pro, as she did not want to disappoint the others.
They returned to the agency, saying that they object to playing LOUDER. Harumi replied that this would make it unlikely for them to accept Roselia into their agency, as her boss thinks LOUDER is Roselia's backbone. So I watched band dream and Roselia changed my musical taste . I like it so much that I don't want to listen to the normal "softer" jpop I'd been listening to before . Do you know similar bands?
Hi, It's my first time posting here and I'm a new bang dreamer particularly a roselia fan. I was wondering why is Roselia labeled as a gothic rock band when the only thing that you can relate to gothic about them is just their stage outfits it isn't even that gothic. I am just new to the franchise but i listened to their songs already and i would like to know more about them and the franchise itself. In my opinion, I think they are not a gothic rock band and here is why:
β’ The lyrics of the songs are not dark and deep. It's deep and poetic lyrics depicts the bonds and challenges the band has been through
β’ The instrumentals isn't dark and strong and it has a different vibe from a gothic rock song
This is just my opinion, and i don't really know that much about gothic rock and i just listened to a few to differentiate them but i would also like to hear your opinions about this.

At the end of S3 E13, I've experienced some emotions I haven't felt in a long time! As someone who has previously experienced what Love Live has to offer, BanG Dream has reignited my personal attachment to anime and this might be my all-time favorite franchise of the anime music multimedia genre.
I would like to highlight a few things. (This post itself is long but passionate. Thank you for reading it all in advance):
Characters: With so many characters in the franchise, I expected to only appreciate a few and complain when those few would not appear on-screen. After going through this journey, I realized that this franchise did the impossible and made me care for all 25 characters (First 5 bands). I got to commend the staff for putting this all together.
IMO, I think it's impossible to appreciate all the characters without reading, AT LEAST, the Band stories. I appreciate the fact that all of the story arcs are unique to each band.
- The pure kindness of Poppin' Party
- The redemption of Pastel*Palettes and surviving and thriving in the Idol industry.
- The childhood bond of Afterglow.
- The surprisingly wholesome and charismatic force of happiness known as Hello Happy World. (Seriously, this band surprised me.)
It's not like LL! where it seems like all the schools are getting closed down. Each band came together differently, plays differently, coexists differently, and has different goals. As basic as it sounds, I greatly appreciate the variety! The clear difference in each group makes any and all crossovers exciting to watch.
It made me realize how grounded these characters are and it wouldn't be possible without reading the game stories (on Youtube). I am VERY happy I made that decision because it made S2 and S3 VERY rewarding to watch. It's similar to the Avengers, a movie that rewarded you for watching all of the MCU Phase 1 movies up to that point.
Music:
This is, of course, a music multimedia project, so it makes sense that music plays a huge role. **After S1, I decided to listen to each of the band's music before and after the stories. For any newcomers, like me, this a move that I highly recommend. Listening to the songs of each band helped me build a foundation of what each band is. I was then able to appreciate the same songs I heard before later

I was going to say they hadn't collaborated at all, but that's not quite true, as Yukina sings in QuintupleβSmile and Picotto! Papitto!! GARUPAβPICO!!!, however none of the instrument parts are played by Roselia members, doubling up Afterglow instead.
Looking at covers, we have Afterglow & Kasumi performing Tentai Kansoku, HHW, Ran & Aya performing Hare Hare Yukai, and PoPiPa & GlitterβGreen performing Seikai Wa Hitotsu! Janai!!... leaving Roselia as the only band to neither feature other band members in their covers, nor be featured in other bands' covers.
You could argue this is a technicality thanks to the two Girls' Band Party! collaboration band songs, but I feel it's more of a technicality the other way around: Roselia (Yukina) is only in those two because it's needed for story/Pico.
Just an interesting and very Roselia thing I noticed today.
Hi everyone! I just got back into Weiss and I made a mono band Roselia deck. I see that Multi Live set is coming to English and I was wondering if there are any good cards to pick up from that set. Also, since set 2 was announced for EN, will there be a huge change for the mono band deck? Any cards/combos that make the deck a lot better? Thanks for the help :)
