A list of puns related to "Rory Delap"
Google "Long throw-in specialists" and all most all of the results are for Rory Delap. Surely their are others who can chuck a ball with such pace and precision.
Back around 2011/12/13, everyone would talk about the FIFA apology rules so much, and youβd see loads of stuff on social media about them.
I donβt think Iβve even seen them mentioned for about 5 years, so I was wondering if theyβre still a thing that kids do with their mates?
Got fond memories of seeing apology statuses popping up on Facebook, and someone having to wipe everything with a towel at school because they conceded a hattrick to Rory Delap.
It has always interest me how different conditions that you canβt really value impact results. In Scottish Football the prime example is the Livingston plastic pitch, how much value does it hold to Livingston. I am from Ireland but over the last 2 years I have become more interested in Scottish football and one thing always stood out for me, the cold wet windy night in the Marconi. It felt like Stoke City on steroids and as an Irish man growing up watching Rory Delap launching one in, Jon Walters elbowing centre halfs, I felt I had finally found my long lost love for Giovanni Trapatonni/Tony Pulis "tough place to go" football. Teams would always find it tough there and on Wednesday night, Livi vs Dundee Unitesin lashing rain, it ended 1 all. Were Livi ever going to lose?
Not for and I went on a one-man mission to investigate all Livi results with the plastic pitch and the conditions in which the games they played.
Here below are the past seasons from 18-19 when the pitch was brought in.

There are some significant findings. Livi last lost a game in December and January on Saturday 26 January 2019. They are sensational in these months
With that mind I broke it down further to see their record in conditions less than 6 degress.

They have only lost 3 of 17 games and two of those times to Rangers with a Win Rate of over 60%. Celtic were 2nd last year with a win rate of 58%
The facts are thus, if SPFL was played only when it was less than 6 degrees Celsius Livingston would be competitive for the league title
The actual weather conditions doesnβt seem to matter for the Lions they have won in January Livi have won in heavy rain, snow, and dry conditions.
On the other spectrum Livi are yet to win a game in May on the plastic pitch. In saying that they went 5 unbeaten in 2018 when the plastic pitch was first brought
