NEVER engage in road rage in Dallas. 3 cars where shot just over this weekend for road rage. One guy was killed not long ago over in HWY 20 and Polk. NEVER HONK AT CARS OR FLIP THEM OFF. Simply continue on with your day and one day those stupid drivers will get what they deserve! ✌️

In the interest of getting people to report unsafe behavior, I figured I would post this up.
On Friday, I was leading a group of 3 bikes down a wonderful country road on the western side of the Mississippi in Iowa. We had to make a right turn to stay on it, and I made the judgment call that with about a 1/2 or more mile and slow moving trucks, i would take the turn. The other two riders are 3 and 15+ years experienced, the gentleman in the back having ridden on every continent but South America.
Our sweep took the turn, i trust his judgment. A white pickup truck then began tailgating the sweep for a few miles, then in a two lane section, sped past passing on the right, while flipping us off and yelling obscenities. He then merged in front of me and slowed down. I took the opportunity doing low speed to record his license and the name of the *company* plastered all over his vehicle.
It was raining hard for a 6 hour ride, the conditions were incredibly unsafe, and this guy decided to tailgate, pass on the right, and then [albeit slowly] brake-check fully loaded motorcycles.
We continued on our route and as he turned into his neighborhood, where he proceeded to turn as slowly as possible while screaming and flipping us off again.
No cell signal all weekend, so today i did some googling and found the company. His photo is in a section about their employees.
HR Director returned my call in about 5 minutes. Talked through what happened. I got the usual "I can't discuss internal employee matters legally, but trust me when i say this will be handled". Genuinely seemed concerned about both our safety and the company image being tarnished by the driver. He could not tell me if i correctly visually identified the correct employee, but he said he had more than enough info to take action.
Also decided to call local PD. Upon giving the license plate they knew exactly who he was. I then visually identified him and they confirmed ID. They are paying him a visit.
TL;DR: don't be afraid to report plates and incidents to local authorities or companies when a company car is involved.
