A list of puns related to "Rhode Island International Horror Film Festival"
anyone ever hear of this festival / is it a real festival?
Another Arknights reaction prompt. This time the natives of Terra reacts to our real life military technology. Considering that most of Terra's warfare still boils down to utilizing cold weaponry like swords and crossbows, with the occasional Originium Arts, what would they think of the ways we engage in warfare?
I want to see our Operators react to how the humans of Earth has mastered the art of long-ranged combat. Things like:
Guns. Their overall effectiveness, their variety, and the fact that we have over a BILLION known firearms manufactured in the world. That's probably even more than the entire population of Terra. (Imagine Exusiai seeing a functional M61 Vulcan)
Our air force and utilization of fighter jets that can break the speed of sound. Alongside UAVs that can rain hellfire from tens of thousands of feet in the sky. (Blaze would probably want to jump off an AC-130)
The sheer number of armored vehicles we use, both in land, air and sea, might be baffling. Although you could say that mobile cities and landships themselves are essentially gigantic tanks.
Now onto the cruel stuff. Incendiary weapons like napalm, or more notably, white phosphorus (Do you feel like a hero yet?). Even thermite is terrifying. Imagine having your skin melting, even underwater.
Now bioweapons are not uncommon in Terra. Hell, that's pretty much what most of our RI operators are. But what about chemical weapons? I wonder how RI would react when they discover existing substances that are completely colorless, odorless, and can kill within minutes. (Blue Poison might be absolutely mortified learning about mustard gas)
What about our rocket science? And I mean serious stuff like ICBMs. Can you imagine being struck by a bomb that literally came from halfway across the world, with your opponent not even visible? Could the Terrans imagine that?
And what about bombs? How does our abundance of explosive chemistry like nitroglycerin or TNT be viewed from Terrans' perspective? Or maybe something bigger...
NUKES. It's not just their sheer destructive output, but also how MUCH of them we've built, numbering in the thousands. That's at least 100 for every nation on Terra. And that's not counting the ones we've already dismantled...
This might be starting to sound like a HFY post, but I'm just sharing my fun thoughts. And I'd like to see yours.
(On a side note: What would they think of the Geneva Convention?)
