Apparently, during OTL WW2, there was some talk within the Polish government of inviting Edward VIII's younger brother, Prince George, Duke of Kent, to become King of Poland. The plan fell through of course, but what if, in Kaiserreich, Edward VIII decides to put George forward as a candidate, as a long shot to bring Poland into the Entente? Ed doesn't really have anything to lose by doing so, and since Poland can already join the Entente, I don't think it's that far fetched.

How does a longer living King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon impact both the United Kingdom and the world in the decades since?

Also because His Majesty gives up smoking, I feel that butterflies would exist in the TL that would lead to Lionel Logue still living as well.

Ideally, this AU scenario would end with both George VI and his beloved wife both passing away in their sleep on March,30,2002. [In OTL, this was the date that the Queen Mother passed away.]
