When the French court and Papacy turned against the Templars do we know what the responses were from the other military orders like Knights of St John, Teutonic Knights, and the several Spanish orders like Santiago and Calatrava?

Were they pleased at the removal of a more influential rival, or was there fear of similar happening to them as the crusading era wound down?

As the events of Chernobyl and the spread of its radiation fallout became known to the West, was there renewed interest in the fallout over St. George, UT? It appears on Wikipedia that there were increases in cancer rates from the 1950s to the 1980s due to the nuclear tests but did the problem stop?

The studies listed were from the 1982 and 1984, and I was wondering if any more thorough research has been conducted since, or whether the US really scrutinized the effect of radiation fallout over the town from their own tests.

I am now even more convinced that the post ST galaxy will look like a mix of Tales of the Jedi, Knight Errant, and post RotJ Legends

EDIT: This post is about what they will do AFTER the ST is over not during it. This is about how the period after the ST is probably going ot end up looking like the period after RotJ did in Legends.

Ok so the next movie has big threads to tie up. Even larger ones than I thought. We now have Rey with some jedi training and some ancient books, Kylo in charge of the First Order wanting to turn it into something different, The Rebellion comprising of few enough people to fit in the falcon, and the force awakening in others across the galaxy.

I don't know what will happen to Rey or Luke or Finn or Kylo or Poe or if Snoke will come back like Palpatine in Dark Empire but this is what I think the galaxy will look like AFTER EPISODE 9.

I will start by defining the three key era's in my title then give my "proof" for how I think it fits. I know we have two years to go and its kind of early but this is it.

Tales of the Jedi was a comic written by KJA with direct input from Lucas himself when it came to the lore for the Jedi and Sith. The story took place 4000 BBY and dealt with the rediscovery of the sith as well as a few other major things (Bastila Shan from Kotor was actually supposed to be the child of one of the characters named Naomi Sunrider) that makes it the base of most of the legends lore on the jedi and sith

That its self is not the important part, whats important are how the Jedi are represented. During this time they hadn't spent so much time fighting the sith and the Republic wasn't that large so they did things differently. They allowed Jedi to marry, use but controll their emotions, train multiple apprentiences, and go on personal quests that might mean being the guardian of one system or meditating in the wilderness. And while their were certenly centers of learning where they came together most jedi were left to their own devices.

Knight Errant takes place in the Galatic Dark ages before Darth Bane and the Battle of Russan that would lead to the formation of the Galatic Republic and the thousand years of peace before TPM. During this time the Sith rule most of the galaxy. As far away as the outer rim and as close as the colonies Sith Warlords vie for power against one another as the Republic and Jedi Order hide behind an armada of ships in the core.

And the post RotJ Legends looked a lot differently than the NEU. Instead of giving up after a year and giving up coruscant without a fight the Empire held on. It took 3 years to take coruscant,
