TIL that Prince Edward, Queen Elizabeth's youngest son, chose to take the title of Earl of Wessex instead of a dukedom, as was tradition. He is set to become Duke of Edinburgh after his father, the current Duke, dies, and the title passes to his brother Prince Charles and after Charles becomes king.

Potential 5th candidate for King of Poland: Prince George, Duke of Kent
Apparently, during OTL WW2, there was some talk within the Polish government of inviting Edward VIII's younger brother, Prince George, Duke of Kent, to become King of Poland. The plan fell through of course, but what if, in Kaiserreich, Edward VIII decides to put George forward as a candidate, as a long shot to bring Poland into the Entente? Ed doesn't really have anything to lose by doing so, and since Poland can already join the Entente, I don't think it's that far fetched.

Here are some images. Chest is all metal with a cast brass crest. Name plate is stamped Duke of Kent, but I have no way of authenticating it. Chest is large and solid, nearly 30 inches across. Based on era, I would assume this would have been Prince George, Duke of Kent, who did serve in the royal military and passed away on duty.
Any idea how much it is worth and if it seems to be real?
